Carrot is the most likable character on the disc. A human raised by dwarfs, he is a simple lad who has a tendency to literal-mindedness. He is the rightful heir to the throne of Ankh-Morpork, but chooses not to take that position and remain in the city watch as a captain. He is simple and easy going, but can, when provoked, be cunning and dangerous. He is currently dating Angua, and they seem very happy together.
