Loading/Unloading the Dryer

This checklist hangs on a wall next to my dryer. I don't have any problems using my washing machine, but I seem to get distracted in the middle of loading or unloading my dryer. I've left wet clothes in there for days, forgetting to start the dryer! I also forget the lint trap and the dryer sheet without this sign. Finally, since it tells me to hang the clothes, I have an easier time hanging them then I would otherwise (before I started using this sign, I would just throw them into a pile on the floor).

The reason for the "clothes on floor" item is that I place clothes (such as my bathroom towel - see Morning Routine) on the floor in front of the washer so that I have a visual cue to remind me to wash the items.

I check the amount of detergent when I load the dryer because this is a convenient place to do this - and I would forget it if it wasn't on some list.

Dryer - Loading

If low, add detergent to Palm shopping list

Dryer - Loading

Put clothes on hangers (shirts, pants) or fold (others)
Throw away dryer sheet
Put a towel in the bathroom (if needed)

If wet clothes are found, load dryer
