Cleaning Bathroom

This checklist hangs on the inside of my bathroom door. It reminds me of the steps involved with cleaning my bathroom. A bathroom is a very challenging room to clean, since it gets dirty very quickly and a lot of tasks are involved in cleaning it. I only do the entire checklist on the day assigned to it by the Cleaning Schedule. However, I use this to get "ideas" during my nightly cleaning sessions (see my Good Night checklist), which always start with a quick survey of the bathroom.

The last item on the list requires me to take a roll of toilet paper with me while I record anything that needs to be bought next time I'm at the store. I've found I almost always get distracted during this step, which is why I take the "prop" with me. While I'm carrying the prop, it is harder for me to get distracted.

This is also a fairly new checklist for me. I'm still trying to figure out how well it will work, although it seems to work well.

Cleaning Bathroom

Scrub:

• Toilet
• Sink
• Tub

Clean mirror
Throw away trash
Change towels
Make sure one roll of toilet paper is:

• in dispenser
• on top of toilet

Check for:

• 4 rolls of toilet paper
• 1/4 tube of toothpaste
• 1 inch of deodorant
• 1/4 bottle of shampoo
• 1 extra bar of soap
• 1 inch of hand soap

If any of these are missing, put on the Palm shopping list

(take a roll of toilet paper with you so you don't forget why you left the bathroom)
