Our Turtles and Tortoises
We have a growing collection of Turtles and Tortoises. These animals can be extremely personable, and tame. We dominantly have Box turtles and Tortoises.
Below is a picture of our baby Ornate Box Turtles (Terrapene ornata). These are really cute little guys (the coin between them is a Toonie [about the size of a 50cent piece in the States]). We also have Eastern Box Turtles (Terrapene carolina carolina), a pair of adult Ornate Box Turtles, and a group of Red Eared Sliders (Trachemys scripta) which were abandoned by their owners (as most adult Red Eared Sliders are).
