Brief Biography: Elizabeth Hurley was born in June 10, 1965 in Hampshire, England, United Kingdom. During her teenage years in Basingstoke, like any youngster, she joined the teenage craze of punk music. She pierced her nose, and had spiky pink hair at a time. Till this day, she has been quoted as saying she still enjoys punk music though the art of punk is nearly extinct (well in my opinion anyways). Hurley was able to win a college scholarship to the London Studio Centre, which taught courses for dance and theater. She did this even with pink spiky hair and a nose ring! Sweet! She made her screen debut at 21. Elizabeth Hurley was in the film Remando al viento in 1987 with young actor (and future husband) Hugh Grant. Elizabeth starred in many mini series on television, but international fame didn't come to Elizabeth yet. She starred as the terrorist in a Wesley Snipes film, Passenger 57, this movie disappointed many including Elizabeth Hurley herself. The most memorable thing I found when I was doing some "research" was that Elizabeth Hurley had to wear a black gown that was held together by a few safety pins. This was a "Versace" gown, though I think I probably could've made a better one. Anyways, she wore this during the premiere of her soon to be successful movie, Four Weddings and a Funeral. She gained her fame and that dress is totally reeking of awsomeness! Speaking of awsomeness... After wearing that sweet dress, she eventually landed a role in Este Lauder as a model. That instantly propelled her to fame. Hugh Grant played a role in this, but that's totally irrelevant. We're here to talk about Liz Hurley. Liz Hurley founded Simian Films with Hugh Grant as a branch of Castle Rock Films. Their first movie was Extreme Measures which was released in 1996. Their ideal first movie was supposed to be comedic, but Liz Hurley fell in love with this script and immediately pushed it to production. Ok this is totally ironic ok? I never intended on having last week's chic of the week and this week's chic of the week to both be in Austin Powers. Well its true, both of them have been in Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery. Now, because of the incredible success of that film, Elizabeth Hurley is on top of her game as her new movie Bedazzled was just recently released.
Pros: Trademark name, everybody knows who Elizabeth Hurley is! She's gaining ground in the entertainment business every single day! Cons: She's married to Hugh Grant. Which means she's married!

Personal Opinions: COTW Says: Drop Hugh Grant and come with me! Not likely, anyways, go check out her new movie Bedazzled, tell the world how much it reeks of awsomeness. Don't be surprised if she's chic of the week... again!
