Jessica Alba Welcome to the first ever Chic Of The Week! Well, maybe not the first as we've finally gotten a domain, but anyways... Jessica Abla, teenage sensation from notables Flipper, Idle Hands and the new James Cameron TV show, Dark Angel. She plays a genetically altered being, named Max, that turns for good against the evil that created her in the distant future. This show is similar to the soon to be hit TV cartoon show, CyberSix. Brief Biography: Jessica Alba was born on Tuesday, April 28th 1981. Which makes her 19 years old as of the year 2000! She is currently the lead role in the soon to be hit TV show Dark Angel. The show is created by Oscar winner James Cameron. Jessica Alba has also had a significant role in the comedic-horror flick with Seth Green. The movie which got average reviews from critics was Idle Hands (personally, I found it rather amusing!). Jessica made her feature film debut in 1993 in the Hollywood Pictures comedy "Camp Nowhere." Originally hired for two weeks, she got her lucky break when an actress in a principal role suddenly dropped out. Ironically, many have said Jessica has fine hair, and the only reason why she received the role was because her hair matched the original actresses. Jessica made a more notable debut in 1994 as a character on the show 'The Secret World of Alex Mack' (I personally remember the show since I watched it when I was in grade 5). Then Jessica hit gold in 1995. She received the major role as Maya on the hit show Flipper. She spent a year filming in Australia for the first season (I don't really remember this show, saw a few episodes, but it wasn't my type of show). I've been to many websites to research this information, but some of them give out a little too much information. As always, we respect the 'chic of the week' and we will not divulge any private information like her waist size, chest size and other things like that. What puzzles me is how these sites actually got that information. However apparently she got her first kiss in 1988 and her first boyfriend in 1993. 1988, I was 4 years old so it couldn't have been me! Pros: Star of soon to be hit show. I am not going to say she will be the next Britney Spears because they are in totally different fields of entertainment.
