This is the official Headquarters of Clan Cane. Cane is a StarCraft BroodWar clan located at U.S East on Battle.net. We play everything from Ladder to U.M.S. If interested in joining, read the content in the Join page and
meet in channel Op ClanCane to get tested for skill and personality. We don't accept psychologically disabled people and we try not to get too big. Check out our Rules and Ranking system to learn more about the clan. If you get recruited, report yourself to the web master (DoomCane) and you will be added to the site.
If anyone wants to have anything on this site or has any suggestions, feel free to e-mail me here. I am open to consider anything.
I encourage that you send in screen shots, personal maps, or replays of good games so I can post them on the site to view or download.

Cane Ladder officially begins today. Before beginning any matches, please read the rules for ladder. To make the match legitimate, you must use the correct map and there must be an observer along with a replay. If any of these three are missing, the match cannot be recorded. All games will be recorded in the Ladder section unless it becomes too overwhelming to keep up with. All matches eventually have to be reported to DoomCane via the forum or b.net.

There will be many changes occuring in the next few days to the site, rules, ranks, among other things. A new Cane ladder system will be organized soon, which will be based on 1v1 games...more info on this will be coming soon. This ladder system will replace the old system of determining ranks. Yes, this means that all your current ranks will change and new ranks will be made based on your skill level. Each level will require earning a specific amount of points. You will be able to earn these points by winning matches. The point system will be simple and based on the point system of wgtour.com ladder.
So in the following week or so, gradual changes will be made but these changes are temporary as I have not yet heard many opinions about this. If this idea doesn't work, we may go back to the way things were. The purpose of this new system is not only to install a more accurate measure of your skill level with respect to the rest of the clan besides the arbitrary rank appointment by the leaders, but it will also encourage Cane members to develop more skill in the game.

It has been almost 6 months since this website has seen any changes, this is because Cane has fallen apart over the late summer and early fall. A lot has happened since then and it is worth storing onto this website. Thus I'll try my best to explain all that has happened since the last post...
Back in fall most of our ladder abusing members have left such as ChillidCane and SlaughterCane among others. Also other members including our top ranking member GhostCane went wild with winbots and record abuse...to the point that Cane became so famous for hacking and abusing that these members wanted to change their names, but rather decided to create a new clan name and bring over all other Cane members. Sometime in August, Doom, Pr0, Ghost, Evil, Withered, and Crazy decided to change the clan name to D]2. or D)2. (a fancy way to write "Dr."). When others heard of this change, the clan began to fall apart. Ghost, now known as D]2.Ho winbotted all our new names to the point we played games just to get losses, and others like Drug and Ro didn't switch at all. Eventually every one went their own seperate ways. Ghost quit sc and started playing counter strike and what he made of his D]2. clan quickly vanished.
This seemed to be the end of Cane. However, this past December I, DoomCane logged on after 6 months of absence and it seems that even without the existence of Cane, former Cane members are still using these names and it wasn't long before we all found each other again. The remaining members of Cane are (0)zorCane, DoomCane, DrugCoCane, CracKaCane, l3boyCane, FantomCane, MurderCane, BattleCane, NeWBiECaNE, HunterCane, CoochieCane, RoCane, and BlaZerCane. Therefore only these members will remain on this site and a lot of changes will be made.
I was not going to work on the site at all however until I heard from CoeCane. He has returned after almost a 1.5 year absence from Cane. Coe is the co-founder of Cane and will return as leader. He plans to revitalize Cane and make something of this Clan again (read the forum for more). Thus it is fitting that I continue to update this site.
