MERLIN - approximately 7 month old merle male with natural ears.  Merlin was turned into Harford County Humane Shelter by his owner because they did not have time for him.  He came to live with me and spent 3 weeks with me before placement.  He was a very friendly sweet boy who just made you laugh with his antics.  His previous owners apparently made Merlin spend long periods of time in his crate as he had become accustomed to going to the bathroom in his crate.  Poor guy.  He really wants to please and got along with all the dogs in his foster home.
BABY - approximately 1 year old harlequin male with blue eyes.  Baby fits his name as he was an absolute Baby that loved to be hugged and wanted to be with me at all times.  He had misplaced pupils in his eyes and therefore I believe did not see well especially at night.  He got along well with my dogs and was an extremely happy dog.   Baby came to live with me when his owner left him at the MD SPCA because she did not have enough time for him.  When I went to see him he was just lying in a puddle of drool and just shaking.  I brought him home immediately.  Poor guy he was pretty scared by his 1 hour stay at the shelter.  It took several days before Baby would willing come to me but boy once the ice was broken he was very affectionate.  Baby had only a 13 day stay in rescue before he found his new home.

SORRY DON'T HAVE ANY PICTURES OF BABY AT THIS TIME.
DOZER - approximately 9 week old mismarked Mantle.  Dozer was turned into MAGDRL after someone found him wandering in a suburban neighborhood.  After asking around the neighborhood and walking him around for several days no one claimed him or recognized him.  It is suspected that he was dumped in this neighborhood by someone wanting to find him a home.  He is a sweet little boy who weighed 27 pounds when he came into rescue.  He did have tape and hook worms which he was treated for before placement.
DUKE - approximately 2 years old, brindle male with cropped ears that didn't stand.  Duke was such a sad sack when he came into rescue.  He was given up because his owner were moving and could not take him.  He had been living outside and really didn't understand being in the house.  He was very thin.  Duke was a snuggle puppy that just wanted to be with you perferable sitting in your lap being hugged.  He got along fine with all my dogs and was a bit afraid of the wiener boy.  Duke gained 15 pounds with me but still needed another 20 pounds on him when he went to his new home.
LOCO - 7 yr. old harlequin male.  Loco came into our household when his owners were moving and could not take him with them.  He is such a sweet wonderful boy it was hard to give him up to his new owners.  Loco did not fit his name at all as he was a very laid back boy that loved attention and hugs.  Loco only spent 1 1/2 weeks with me before going to his new home.  In that short time he settled in like he had always lived here.  He loved to have my husband lay on the floor so he could lay down next to him and snuggle up and take a nap.  What a wonderful senior canine citizen.
