WOODIE - arrived in rescue on November 22, 2000.  He was 101 pounds and covered with sores and scar but very little hair.  He was turned in to Harford County, MD SPCA when a man found him tied to a tree in the woods.  Woodie was very sweet with people when he came home with me but terribly dog aggressive.  He has made great strides and now gets along well with my 3 personal dogs.  He spent 10 months with me.  You can see more on Woodie's story under Rescue Stories on this site.
How could you not love this face!
CEASAR - 5 mo. old harlequin pup.  Ceasar stayed with me for the Memorial Day weekend when the home he went into did not work out.  Ceasar was acting aggressively towards his new owner and she was not comfortable with him.  It was determined when I picked him up that he was obviously in some pain.  After a weekend of crate rest and doggie aspirin a sweet dog emerged.  It turns out Ceasar had a shoulder condition none as OCD which is painful and also he had an old fracture on a hind leg that was starting to heal.  Rough play with another dog in the previous home irritated these conditions bringing out the worst in him.  He has since had his shoulder surgery and is recovering nicely.  He is a sweet dog that is eagar to please and loves attention.
MISSY - 6 yr. old brindle female.  Missy was turned into rescue extremely thin and heartworm positive.  A sweeter dog you never met.  She was with me only 2 weeks and then went to a new home.
MISSY - A merlequin female.  Missy was turned in to rescue because her owners were moving and they could not take her.  We were told Missy never gets on the furniture.  She looked awful comfortable here for the the "first" time!  She was only with me for a few days and then went to her new home.  Another great dog.
