On our last day in New York itself, we took a cruise round Manhattan Island with the Circle Line (one of our City Pass tickets). Here's a few photos taken from the boat.
The top picture is of downtown Manhattan taken from under Manhattan Bridge. You should just be able to make out Brooklyn Bridge in the distance. The other pictures are of Downtown Manhattan with Battery Park in the foreground and the Domino Sugar refinery on the East River. I don't quite know why I took the last picture, but I really like it anyway. |
