Background Information:
Padm� dons a heavy purple velvet cloak with a double yoke for a meeting with a group of anti-Palpatine senators, including Bail Organa and Mon Mothma. Not only is her intricately beaded and embroidered gown appropriate for the formality of the meeting, but the size of the cloak hides her pregnancy which is unknown to most senators.

Anakin saw the most stinging in a long line of betrayals -- now his wife had brought his former mentor to Mustafar to kill him. Anakin raised his hand and caught Padm� in a telekinetic chokehold. Padm� gasped for breath as life began to escape from her. In this climactic scene, Padme is seen wearing this costume.
