Later That Night

I walked into Lij's house major tired, with my dress and acessories in my hands. I put everything down in Lij's room, and went outside where everyone was. I sat down on the ground next to Lij. He put his arm around me. We all laughed, and joked till early morning, 1 AM I think. I walked into Lij's room with Lij right behind me. He jumped into bed. "Um…Lij, how is this supposed to work?" I asked. "It's too late to think, we'll talk about it tomorrow." He said. I got into bed nervously. All of a sudden it didn't seem right. He went to put his arm around me, and noticed that I was all the way almost falling off the side of the bed. "Are you OK?" He asked. "Yeah, fine, why do you ask?" I asked. "You're so far away." He said. "I'm sorry, it's just weird now that we're going out, I don't normally sleep with the guy I'm dating unless…" I said cutting myself off. "Um…I see what you mean, but I don't want that from you." He said. When anyone else said it I wouldn't believe it, but when Lij said it, I did. "OK." I said coming closer to him. I gave him a kiss, and fell asleep.

The Next Morning

"Morning." I said sleepily as I woke up. Lij was still asleep. I smiled, and sat on him. I leaned close to his face. "Morning Lij." I said. He slowly opened his eyes. "Morning." He said. He closed his eyes, turned over, and I toppled off onto the other side of the bed as he fell back asleep. "LIJEY! Wake up!" I said. He groaned, and turned to the other side. "Uh! Elijah Jordan Wood!" I said. He laughed a bit, but didn't more. He was enjoying my growing annoyance. "AH! Get up!" I squealed as I pounced onto him. "You are quite the impatient little girl, aren't you?" He asked. "Little girl? I'll show you who's little!" I said. We wrestled around the bed for a while like we used to do, totally forgetting we were dating, until he rolled on top of me, and kissed me. We kissed until there was a knock on the door. We didn't part our kiss till Hannah opened the door. "ELIJAH! I don't need to see that!" She said. "So leave." He mumbled. "Huh?" She asked honestly not hearing. "Never mind." He said rolling off of me, and standing up. I stood up too. "I'm gonna go get ready for the day." I said. "You mean the DVD thing? We have to arrive at 4." He said. "AH!" I said. I scrambled to the bathroom as he laughed.

Everyone was talking about their growing excitement, and about the party that Lij was holding at his house that night (He also forgot to tell me about that). "Lijey! Do I look OK?" I asked worried that I didn't look OK because he'd been staring at me with his mouth practically hanging open. "You look great, I could take you home right now and…" He started. "Whoa Lijey! We aren't the only ones in this limo." I said. I didn't know why Lij though I looked so great, I was wearing a little black dress that went just above my knees with a small slit in the side. I have strappy black shoes on, and my hair was up in a bunch of curls. The car stopped. I looked excitedly at Billy, and he smiled giving me a thumbs up. Dom and Hannah were the first to get out then Billy and Mindy, and lastly Lij and me. We walked down the red carpet talking with different people at different times. "Elijah, Tom Bellows from E! can we get an interview?" He asked. Elijah smiled. "Sure." He said. "Who's the guest?" Tom asked. "This is my long-time best friend, and new girlfriend, Forever." Lij said. "So how long have you known Elijah?" He asked. "Forever, we grew up living…" I started before he pushed me out of the way, and waved Liv Tyler into my place. I just stood back shocked at the happenings. I looked at my right, and saw Hannah staring in the same shock. I looked at Lij who was talking away. Hannah walked up. "Can you believe that just happened?" She asked. "No, and look at Lij!" He's totally cool with it!" I said. She held my sholder. "What if this is what it's going to be like with a real girl? She comes along, gets me out of the way, and he's cool with it." I said. "I know Lij, and I'm sure he wont ever do that." She said. Dom walked up. "Hello girls you two loitering around?" He asked. "Yup." I said. We talked for a while till someone told us we had to come in. I waited for Lij to come, and get me, and finally he did. "Having a good time so far?" He asked. I put on a fake smile. "Great time!" I said. He smiled. "That's great." He said. We walked in, and took our seats. "So what exactally happens at one of these?" I asked. "Bunch of talking, all of the main characters say something then they show clips from the movie in between things." He said. "Umm…OK." I said. I sat and listened to Peter Jackson drone on for forever then I listened to Dom, Billy, and Elijah. Then finally 3 hours later the stupid thing ended. I was getting in a really bad mood because of that stupid guy from E! and Elijah was acting like it didn't even happen, and that was pissing me off even more. I got into the limo, and looked out the tinted window. Everyone was talking about how exciting the DVD thing was. I didn't say a word. "What did you think Eve?" Dom asked. "Yeah, it was great." I said really trying to act like I was telling the truth. Lij looked at me to explain along with everyone else. "Sorry guys, I'm tired." I said. They smiled, and went on talking. We got to his house, got out, and everyone, but me, scrambled to get the last minute party stuff ready. I walked into Lij's room, and sat on his bed. Lij walked in. "What's going on? Why the bad attitude?" He asked. "I'm pissed!" I said. "Why?" He asked. "Because that mofo from E! pushed me out of the way, and pulled Liv in, and you said NOTHING!" I said. "When did that happen?" He asked. "You are so freaking in love with Liv you can't even notice when I'm gone?" I asked. "It's not like that! I don't like Liv that way! We're strictly friends, and barly even that!" He said. "Then why didn't you say something?" I asked. "Because I didn't see it!" He said. "UH!" I said falling back onto the bed. He walked away. I followed him outside where I saw him light a cigarette. "Oh Lij! What are you doing?" I asked. "I started up again not to long ago." He said. Lij and I had both quit last year. I grabbed the cigarette from his mouth burning my hand in the process. "DAMN!" I yelled. I threw the cigarette on the ground, and started blowing on my hand where it was burnt. Lij grabbed my hand, and pulled it to the sink where he ran cold water on it. "Thank you Lijey." I said. "Am I forgen?" He asked. I smiled. "Well, I can't be mad at you. You're just too cute. OWE!" I yelled. He took my hand out of the water, and kissed it. "Does it feel any better?" He asked. "Yes, thank you." I said giving him a kiss. We heard the doorbell ring. "People!" He said. Elijah opened the door letting all the guests in. The party was going well until I ran into Liv. "Hi, you're who?" She asked rudely. "Forever, and you're who?" I asked with the same rudeness. "Duh! Where have you been? I'm Liv Tyler." She said. I rolled my eyes, obvousally some people can't take sarcasm well. "Yeah, whatever." I said. "Do you see Elijah over there? Isn't he the hottest thing ever? We're going out, you know." She said. "Bloody hell! I knew it!" I said. I turned, and walked out the door. Billy noticed how I left, and ran after me. "Shit!" He said. "Little Girl! Hold up." He said. "I'm going home Billy, please, take me to the airport." I said trying to keep my cool. "What did she say?" He asked grabbing my arm. I pulled it out, getting angry. "I don't want to talk about it! I want to go home." I said. I saw Elijah's car parked in the driveway. I kicked the back of it several times leaving a dent. "Eve! Calm the hell down!" She said. I looked at him with raging anger. "I freaking believe him Billy! He said he loved me, and I believed him! Now who's the ass of the joke? I am! Shit Billy! I can't stay here with that…that…with him! I can't believe I told him I loved him!" I said. "You don't love him?" He asked. "No, I do, but I wouldn't be here if I hadn't told him. I just want to leave." I said. "Hold on, let me go get keys." He said. I nodded, and turned around. I fought back the tears, which wasn't hard concidering the level of my anger. "Where are we going?" I heard Lij say. "Piss off." I said. He looked at me. "Excuse me?" He asked. "I said piss off, where's Billy?" I asked. "He's inside, he told me I should talk to you." He said. "Good luck with that, I'm outtie." I said. "Thanks for the dent, why are you mad?" He asked. "I can't believe you! Do you even care that I'm about to walk out of your life forever?" I asked. "No because I know you wont." He said. "Elijah, I can't stay with you. You lied to me, you told me you loved me. Why? Why would you want to hurt me?" I asked. "You talked to Liv, didn't you?" He asked. "So it's true." I said. "No, it's not. Liv has had this weird thing for me sense I've was in The Good Son. She used to send me all these letters when I was a boy, and all. And she took the Lord of the Rings job because she knew I was in it. Sense she went out with Dom, and I that one night when we pissed in the fountain, she thinks we're dating." He said. "What? Because she saw you piss in a freaking fountain she thinks you're dating? What a freak!" I said. "I'd never want to hurt you. And I truly do love you." He said. I looked at him trying to see if he was lieing to me. He wasn't. "Lijey, I love you too." I said. I looked down seeing the dent on his car. He looked at it. "It's not that bad. I can get it fixed for next to nothing." He said. "I hate her." I said. "The car? She really did nothing to make you hate her." He said. "Not the car! Liv!" I said. "Oh, her." He said. "Yeah her, I hate her." I said. "Just try not to kill her. You don't want to go to jail, orange would look HORRIBAL on you!" He said. I laughed. "That is would." I said. "Let's go back inside, and find Billy, Dom, Mindy, and Hannah." He said. "OK." I said. We walked in. Everyone was having fun, but the group of people in the corner where we noticed Hannah yelling at Liv. We walked up. "You have been the most annoying person in the world for the past god knows how many years, and now you've crossed the line. You are not, never have been, and never will be Elijah's girlfriend. And telling his girlfriend that you are is crossing the line! You are trying to break up their relationship, and it's not going to work" She said. "What do you know? You are a poet who lives at home with mommy! You are worthless." She said. "You're a crap actress who's only made it this far because daddy has been holding you up. Without your dad you'd be another worker at McDonald's." Hannah said. I loved Hannah! She always tells it like it is, and she sure was telling the truth. I tried not to laugh. Lij was staring at Hannah. I grabbed his hand. "Elijah! Are you hearing her?" Liv asked spotting Lij. "I think it would be best if you left." He said. "But…but! I'll tell my father!" She said as she left. I rolled my eyes. "Good ridens to bad rubbish." I said. "Is everything OK between you two?" Billy asked. I nodded. "Yeah." I said. "We'll have to go see what they can do about your car tomorrow." Billy said. "Your car?" Dom asked. I looked up, and started to whistle. "What did you do?" Mindy asked. "I…I well, I kind of dented his bumper. I got really pissed." I said. They all laughed. When they quieted down I heard the beginning chords to "This I Promise You" by *Nsync. My favorite song. "Lijey! It's my song!" I said. "I know, dance with me?" He asked. I grabbed his hand, and we danced. Even when the song ended and a faster song came on we kept dancing. "Elijah! My man! How's it hanging?" I heard. I looked over and saw Chris Rock. I poked Lij in the stomach. "Chris! Hey." Lij said. "Who's the babe?" Chris asked. "This is Forever, my girlfriend. Forever, this is Chris." Lij said. "Nice to meet you." I said. "Yeah, you too." He said. He and Lij said a few more things, and he walked away. "Do you want something to drink?" He asked. "No thanks." I said. There was someone who I recognized, but couldn't put a name to, walking around handing out LOTR DVDs. Who is that? I wondered. Lij walked away, and the DVD guy came up. "Hey hun. Are you here all alone? If you are, let me escort you around. A lady as beautiful as you should never be alone at a party, it's not safe." He said. He was a charmer, I'd have to give him that much, he sure wasn't bad in looks either. "You look fermiliar, do I know you?" I asked. "If you don't we could go to the other room, and you could REALLY get to know me. I'm Orlando, Orlando Bloom." He said. I smiled. "Nice to see you again Orlando, I'm Forever." I said. "AHH! The 16-year old?" He asked. I laughed. "I'm 21 now." I said. "Ah, so what brings you here, and what will it take to bring you there?" He asked pointing towards Lij's room. "I'm here visiting Elijah, and…" I got cut off when I felt arms around my waste and a head on my sholder. "So what do you think of my all-grown up Eve?" Lij asked. "She's all grown up that's for sure. She's major hot." He said. "And major mine." Lij said. "Oh! Bye." He said running off. "So what would it take for ME to bring you there?" He asked pointing to his room. I kissed his cheek. "You wish." I said. He laughed. "As I'm sure almost all those guys do too." He said pointing to a group of Orlando's friends who kept looking over at me. I smiled. "Well, maybe someone will be nice enough to get me a water, then we'll see." I said. He ran, and got me a water. I pretended to think. "Nope, not yet Lij." I said. He smiled. "Ok." He said.

The Party ended fairly early in the morning and after cleaning up we all fell asleep.
