Ed's Stats

Name: Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Tivrusky the 4th
Real Name: Francois Appleberry
Nicknames: Edward, Ed, Radical Edward
Sex: Female (contrary to her appearance!)
Birthday: January 1st, 2059
Age: 13
Home Planet: Earth
Blood Type: AB
Height: 136 cm or 4 ft. 5 inches

Edward is a genius hacker with quite a reputation; she's known as Radical Edward in cyberspace. However, like many child geniuses, Edward is a bit loopy.. in fact, she's completly nutters! Nutters, but very talented, I mean, the girl can type with her toes!

She was living all alone on Earth, wanted by the police for hacking, until she decided she wanted to become a real member of Bebop! Using her hacking skill of controling any ship via remote control, Ed left the Bebop gang little choice but to let her join them. With endless energy, she loves running around the Bebop with the lab-dog Ein, occasionally helping the gang with her computer skills... or feeding them Magic Mushrooms.

Ed's Session Guide

After Jamming with Edward Ed appears in every episode up through Session 24. However, some episodes are more Ed-Oriented than others!

Session 9 ~ Jamming With Edward ~ This is Ed's Premiere Session. The entire episode revolves around her making friends with a lonely satallite with a bounty on it and then becoming a member of Bebop!

Session 10 ~ Ganymede Elegy ~ This is a Jet Black Episode; both Ed and Faye do literally nothing besides sit in the sun. However, there is a cute scene where Ed catches a strange.. something on her fishing line!

Session 11 ~ Toys in the Attic ~ This parody of the Aliens movies is another Ed Episode! It involves the Bebop gang's battle with a "horrible, myterious alien!".

Session 12 and 13 ~ Jupiter Jazz ~ This is a plot episode involving Spike, Vicious, Julia, Faye and a mysterious saxophone player named Gren. Ed and Ein get left on Bebop for these two. But, they find some.. interesting ways of entertaining themselves!

Session 14 ~ Bohemian Rhapsody ~ Edward vs. A mysterious ChessMaster Bountyhead! Who knew that a game of chess could last so long?!

Session 15 ~ My Funny Valentine ~ Obviously, this is a Faye Valentine Episode. It's a very good episode that answers a lot of questions.. but, sadly, very little Ed!

Session 16 ~ Black Dog Serenade ~ Another Jet Episode... ((Ed pops up, "Where IS Edward?!? Let's give Ed some episodes!!!" The maintainer shoves her back off screen and hisses, "Next session. Go bug Spike." Ed airplanes off to do just that.)) Ahem, as I was saying, this episode is Jet's, but Ed gets to take care of his bonsai! "Bonsai, bathtoy, wiseguy, waterboy!"

Session 17 ~ Mushroom Samba ~ An Ed episode! Ed and Ein set out on a crazy adventure through the desert in search of food and come back with... Magic Mushrooms.

Session 18 ~ Speak Like A Child ~ This is my personal favorite episode. It's an everybody episode! And, once again Ed proves that she is easily the smartest member of the Bebop crew when she helps Spike and Jet track down an antique Beta Video deck that will unlock Faye's lost past.

Session 19 ~ Wild Horses ~ This is probably my personal least favorite episode. Not a whole lot gets accomplished one way or another... However, there are a few cute Ed moments.

Session 20 ~ Pierrot La Fou ~ Spike is being hunted by a madman with paranormal abilities... Meanwhile, back on Bebop, Ed is going through a repetative phase and in a hilarious bit of dialogue permanently christens her crew member "Faye-Faye!"

Session 21 ~ Boogie Woogie Feng Shui ~ Another Jet Black episode involving him helping an old friend's daughter unravel the mystery of the Sun Stone. Faye and Spike don't buy this story and put Ed up to asking Jet's little "friend" some very embarassing questions.

Session 22 ~ Cowboy Funk ~ Spike vs. Cowboy Andy! Those two are so similar it's scary. Ed helps the gang dig up info on their new pal Andy.. and she gets her very own Cowgirl hat!

Session 23 ~ Brain Scratch ~ In an attempt to flee her debt, Faye joins a cult called "Scratch" that leads members to believe they don't need their bodies. Ed and Jet team up to hunt for the truth behind "Scratch". Note: Ed actually wears a dress in this episode! She looks so pretty... for the 5 seconds it lasts. ;-)

Session 24 ~ Hard Luck Woman ~ It's been a fast ride for Bebop. In this final Ed and Faye episode, the girls team up and learn that belonging is the very best thing there is. Ed knows that she can't stay and starts off on a long journey to learn where she really belongs. But, she doesn't have to go it alone! Faithful Ein insists on coming with his friend and the two careen off into the sunset...

"She wandered in about 5 years ago, and before I knew it she was eating here as if that was the way it always was. Then, about 3 years ago, she wandered away again.. like a cat, you know...?"
