Oxwich is a beautiful beach backed by sand dunes and wooded headland and Oxwich Castle. This is one of the few beaches on the Gower where dogs are allowed in the summer months. Parking is excellent and there are beach shops selling ice cream, and fishing nets for the children. The sea is clear, and the sand is great! I only popped down here for an hour the other day but I will be returning shortly to take some better photos, and more info. There is a nature reserve, a castle, an old church on the headland, and some really lovely walks. As I said, parking is good, toilet facilities are also fairly good. |
