GENERAL RULES AND
REGULATIONS
1.
POLICY STATEMENT
1.1
The MC Audio Visual Center has been established primarily to
service the academic, curricular and instructional requirements of
the school; including the functions of the school.
1.2
The services of the school’s Audio Visual Center may,
however, be extended to other in-school activities like co-curricular
programs, PTA & SSC and other student organizations recognized by
the school, upon request subject to the accomplishment of AVC Form
No.1 The center may likewise accommodate request for services from
outside parties like government agencies , civil organizations and
others, provided such services shall not be in conflict with the
above priorities.
1.3
The person/s applying for the use
of the AVC equipment/ facilities and whoever shall recommend
the approval of the application shall assume whole responsibility
jointly and severally with the association , group, organization,
department to the school for the
financial obligation or damages arising directly or indirectly
for the use of equipment
and facilities.
2.
APPLICATION
2.1
All application for the use of the AVC equipment and
facilities shall be made in
the prescribed application form which may be obtained from the AV
Center.
2.2
Applications should be filed with the center at least (3) days
before the date of the proposed activity. (In case of student
association or group, the application should be countersigned by the
Dean/ Principal/ or Department Head and forwarded to the office of
the Executive Committee for the approval).
3.
CANCELLATION/ POSTPONEMENT OF APPLICATION
3.1
Should the applicant cancel his application or change the
request or any of the specification written under the heading
“Particulars” he/ she shall do so not later than (1) day before
the date of the proposed activity.
3.2
Notice of postponement, cancellation
or alteration should be forwarded to the AV Center Office and not to
the Technician concerned.
4.
PRELIMINARY PREPARATION
4.1
All outside (non AVC) films/ filmstrips, slides, video tapes,
transparencies, photographs and other instructional materials
intended for use of requesting parties should be submitted to the AV
Center for preliminary preparation.
5.
ADVISER’S PRESENCE
5.1
The faculty member in-charge, the adviser and or persons
accountable should be personally present in the premises throughout
the activity.
6.
COST
6.1
As the cost of upgrading and maintaining the sensitive Audio
visual Equipments of the Center required sustained funding
nominal fees should be charged by the Center against the
requesting party c/o the principal requisitioner. This is not
applicable to the student and faculty members.
6.2
All payments shall be paid to the MC Treasury and receipts
shall be presented to the Center for validation and record purposes.
7.
REVOCATION OF PERMIT/ APPLICATION
7.1
The school’s AV Center reserves the right to cancel or
revoke a permit/ application granted in case of misrepresentation and
or violation of any of the rules and regulation herein specified.
