-----All around them now, the old ruined village seems just as quiet as it was before. The sky overhead remains gray with clouds and the birds and animals chatter and chirp from the distance.
-----"Oh blast..." Sol murmurs, barely aware of Amythiel's attentions. With a pain-induced stare, he watches Raven with profound respect.
-----Sarah exhales deeply. Very relieved. Then she sees Sol and rushes over to see how badly he is hurt. She picks up three of her darts from the ground on the way.
-----Thalog says, "This might be painfully obvious to some, but next time we fight bone-men perhaps we should all have bone breaking weapons." Thalog looks at Sarah, "Was that 'something' enough for you my dear." Thalog begins to search the ruins where the bone-men were hiding.
-----Still sitting down, Sol watches Thalog leave. He decides that it's probably a good thing excessive blood loss prevented him from throttling the arrogant mage at his words. "I'm having...trouble deciding if we should warn him...about the other bone-men in those buildings." Sol's words come out slightly ragged.
-----Sarah murmurs something under her breath and decides to let it pass. She goes back to where Amythiel is looking after Sol, "Anything I can do to help?" she asks....
-----"Yes, help me get his surcoat and ring-mail tunic off him," Amythiel says as she grabs her backpack from about her shoulders. "Carefully now," the priestess adds, "Sorry, Sol, this might be painful until I get to the wound."
-----Raven scans the area for any other movement. Seeing none, he walks over and grabs the odd long sword. Raven takes a moment to knock away the skeleton hand still grasping the weapon. Raven then walks over to where Sol is.
-----"Here Sol," Raven places the weapon next to Sol, "At least we know this sword works." He gives Sol a slight smile and looks down at the wound. Raven's face shows concern, "Don't worry Amythiel will fix ya right up." Raven turns toward Amythiel, "Right?"
-----"By the glory of the Sun God he should be up soon," Amythiel replies as she helps ease the now shirtless young man onto his back. She commences to clean the wound and wrap it.
-----Raven listens to Thalog comment and then says, "You should have attacked them with your personality. It's blunt enough."
-----Raven turns toward Sarah after he hears her murmurs something. Raven appears to want to say something, instead he takes off after Thalog. "Hold up! It's better if we don't wander off alone. I'll come with you."
-----Standing over Sol and the two women, Zentil draws his sword. He calls after Raven, "Ill guard while they tend to Sol. Yell if you need me."
-----Raven and Thalog enter the house next to where Sol and Sarah had encountered some of the monsters. As they look around, they hear some shuffling in one of the back rooms. They carefully make their way through the empty house to where they suspected the noises originated.
-----Peering in the back room, they find it to be devoid of everything including furniture and anything living. An open window emits some gray light into the room and a tattered shutter lightly bangs against its mounting.
-----As they move over to the window, they see some movement outside. On closer look, they see another undead warrior moving away from the house, heading in the direction the others took that were turned.
-----For the better part of an hour, the pair searches the houses that surround the square, but find nothing of interest. Even the big house at the end of the square stands empty except for a few of the walls that look as if they threaten to collapse from age.
-----The only thing that Raven detects is, as they leave the bigger structure, there are tracks of the undead things leading off to the northeast from the ruined village.
-----By the time they rejoin the others in the center of the grassy and weed-choked square, Sol stands on his own. He once again wears his ring-mail covered by the green surcoat. The sword Raven took to him lies at his feet.
-----Sol reaches down and picks up the sword. He holds it up, testing its balance and weight. He looks to Amythiel and Sarah, "Thank you, both. And of course you, Solarius..." With which he gives a quick glance in the direction of the sun. Sol begins looking through the rather large collection of bones for a scabbard.
-----"Did you know that that sword is a magnificent specimen from the ancient Lathanian Empire," Thalog says as he eyes Sols sword.
-----Sol eyes Thalog with one eyebrow half raised. "I do know that it is a magnificent specimen, but not the rest. I'm surprised you know so much of weapons and battle tactics. Perhaps you could dispense with your superior knowledge of warfare more often." Surprisingly, he curses himself, and walks a few feet away and rubs his eyes for a few moments.
