-----Soon a person is seen stealing through the trees toward their position. In the rain cloud darkness, everyone can tell it is Garrison carrying his large axe carefully making his way to them. As he approaches, his soaked brown hair and shirt cling to him.
-----With wide alert eyes, he surveys everyone around him and hands Sol's pouches to the young warrior. Looking at Sarah, he quickly asks, "I heard you had some trouble. Are you all right?"
-----He then asks Sarah with a neutral look, "By the way, who was the girl with Romney?"
-----As Sol takes his pouches, Raven points to the surrounding trees. Looking upward at an angle, the hunter says, "Could be our prey took to the trees, . . . unless he could fly."
-----Sol hooks his pouches to his belt and opens one of them, pulling out the lens by the handle. "I've no idea who th' lady is..." He replies as he begins to inspect the area through the crystal, both on the ground and the trees around.
-----"You're always so helpful, darling." Sarah says nicely. "She was a dancer just messing around down here. I came to see what she was doing. I think we should make sure she doesn't go anywhere. Or maybe I was the target."
-----Sarah shrugs. "We may just have to do some detective work once we get back."
-----"We could spread out here," Raven suggests, "Course the rain's not going to make it any easier the more time goes by." His eyes then narrow as he adds, "I found only one set of prints. I hope there's not an ambush being set up."
-----"Hmm..." Sol comments rather unhelpfully as he heads over to where the fallen tree lies. He steps over it carefully and scans the area beyond it, still using the lens.
-----The young warrior looks at the ground past it, as well as looking to the branches above. Garrison and Raven continue to look over the area as Rinda draws her bow and keeps watch.
-----The huntress nods as Lovan walks through the trees to join them. The Storm Priest hefts his warhammer as looks calmly around. His eyes then focus on the dark sky hidden behind the tree canopy.
-----"Yes, well. It seems th' assailant did climb this tree." Sol points to the offending flora just beyond the fallen log. He gazes amongst the tree's upper branches a moment before adding, "If he's that used t'moving through the forest then I'd say Raven is definately right. An elf...I'm not sure if we're going to be able to track this fellow much further. Perhaps we should head back after all. Talk t'th' lady an' report th' crime."
-----"If it was night I could get Chessie to follow him." Sarah says. "But right now there's nothing I can do." She shrugs as she gazes up at the leafy canopy. "Are we heading back? Unless there's anything our rangers can do for us left?" She glances towards Garrison and Raven to see if they're out of tricks.
-----"So, we are looking for an elf to set the Fury on?" Lovan asks, before adding, "I hope we find him before the rain stops." The Storm Priest suddenly stops and tells everyone with a wild look in his eye, "You know, I can't remember when I called down the Rager's Fury before I met you people. Perhaps you will see the error of your ways and choose to worship the Rager the way Sol and I do."
-----A large smile crosses Garrison's face as he answers Lovan, "Well, for now, just remember we're all on the same side. Be sure you warn us before you send one of those Rager's Furys crashing down."
-----Rinda also smiles and shakes her head. Her eyes widen with mock alarm as she tells Raven, "Can you imagine if Lovan met Broactor?"
-----Raven stops mid-stride as everyone starts back toward the inn and raises his eyebrows as if pondering the possibility. "It would certainly be . . . loud," The hunter says just as Lovan begins to explain to Garrison how the Rager's Fury brought an end to the green dragon they faced that day.
-----A few moments later, as the adventurers climb the steps around the massive bulk of the tree, they make it to the landing of the level where their rooms are located. The rain comes down a bit harder almost resembling a waterfall outside the weather protecting branches of the inn. Everyone shakes as much of their wet clothing as much as they can while climbing.
-----Romney calls to them from the next level up. "The young lady's room is located up here," the guard calls down to them.
-----Sol mops rain from his face as he says, "Alright, let's head on upstairs and see if th' young lady can answer some o' our questions."
-----The adventurers then climb up to the next level of rooms. There they meet Romney who stands aside one of the doors of the many rooms. He ushers everyone inside and all can see that the dancer has a room similar to their own.
-----The girl sits at a center table drinking from a small mug. She appears a bit calmer having dried and warmed herself from the outside elements.
