-----Raven runs over to the held priest to finish him off. Raven growls in a low tone at the priest, "I warned you."
-----Sarah can still see the hawk diving into some of the hobgoblins as they clear away from where the heroes stood. As the humanoids make it close to the defensive line, the bird of prey soars off above the battle.
-----Sol rides furiously at the mounted leader catching him a few yards behind the humanoid line. At the last moment, the commander spots the Gorian and Sol delivers a sword strike that badly injures the enemy's abdomen. Again, Sol quickly raises his sword and slices across with the blade impacting into the commander's back muscle. The commander draws his sword but Sol now has him hurting badly! The evil warrior swings at Sol twice but misses.
-----Not far from where Sol is, the four frogs take down that many hobgoblins with some strange and violent clawing and biting.
-----A score of hobgoblins now advance on Garrison, Raven and Lovan as a few move toward where Sol is fighting. The remainder of the defensive line now numbers about a dozen hobgoblins carrying pole arms and another dozen that are archers.
-----Sarah throws four magic missiles at the person that Sol is fighting and yells to him to fall back and help the others.
-----The young mage watches her golden missiles streak across before Sol can raise his blade again. The magic strikes the leader and causes the man to rock in his saddle. The magic missiles definitely wounded him!
-----"Best be watchin' fer more arrows!" Pil says, cautiously. He then points at a group of archers trying to regroup on the right flank of the battle line.
-----Dilton rides over to Strolum on Sarah's other side. There he looks at the red-haired warrior with an arrow sticking out of his right chest. Strolum is slumped forward on his steed. "Strolum!" the froggy throated warrior calls, "Boy! You're hurtin' bad!"
-----Across the way, Raven is seen standing over the held priest and running a sword across his neck. The Hunter then stands to face the approaching humanoids.
-----Two human horsemen armored in chain begin to move toward where Sol battles the army leader. Two more stay close now to the younger officer.
-----Garrison is seen to tie up the cloaked man that Raven downed.
-----The hawk screeches as it alights on another hobgoblin as the humanoid tries to battle the bird away with its arms. The four frogs continue to leap about clawing and biting various soldiers. In this way, the troop is slowed trying to get at the heroes.
-----Like a naughty little boy who does not respond to his mother when called, Sarah watches Sol swing his blade at the leader only to have the attack parried. Sol then swings his blade the other way and it connects with the man's shoulder. The leader looks greatly weakened but not dead yet.
-----"Mistress," Sarah hears Caranip call up to her from the ground. Looking down she sees the gnomish girl staring up at her dazzled by the rotating starry motes. "Should I try more spells to help?"
-----Blood spots Strolum's lips as he gasps out, "Dilton, ye be watchin' this flank if'n I pass out."
-----"Archers! Prepare to fire across the way!" The younger officer shouts behind the hobgoblin archers.
-----Sarah is also aware that the leader has just swung at Sol and missed him. She also sees Lovan taunting the younger officer and the command for the archers, surprisingly, does not immediately come forth.
-----Raven rushes forward being the first to meet the hobgoblin soldiers. Instantly he slices in and drops a humanoid before turning to the next one.
-----Strolum watches the battle from across the way with a weak expression. His breathing becomes a bit labored.
-----"Strolum!" Pil says sternly, "Take cover in them hills, now. No use in ye gittin' shot agin!"
-----Very quickly Raven kills another soldier as the Hunter stalks forward.
-----The leader's sword clangs twice as he fights Sol. Both attacks miss Sol and Sarah can tell that Sol is not walking away from this one until the evil one is dead.
-----The younger officer now twists and turns in his saddle in painful twitches.
-----Two guards ride up close to Sol. With their swords, they try to draw the young warrior away from their commander, but Sol stays focused.
-----Lovan slams his hammer into the arm of a hobgoblin. The humanoid yells out in pain.
-----Suddenly the hawk gets knocked to the ground by a wildly swinging mace.
