-----With a sad tone in his voice, the Curate gives his farewells to them saying, "We are forever grateful for what you have done for your Faith. Forgive me now as I must tend to the reclaiming of our most Holy Temple."
-----With that, the party of rogues and guards find themselves out on the streets heading back toward the way of the Marketplace. The time is now the late afternoon and a few curious people have begun to travel down the street by the once darkly occupied temple. The excitement of the past night and day seems to be felt by everyone.
-----Minutes later, they find their way back to the inn and as they climb the stairs to their rooms, they realize that Dalyor is not with them.
-----The Dread Pirate looks around and says, "Ye ever notice that Dalyor is really quite good at vanishin when the goin gets tough. Anyway, I've got a couple things to check on, but I'll be right back. No longer than a couple o' hours at most. No, no, I don't need any company."
-----The Dread Pirate turns and heads back out the door.
-----Seth waves goodbye to Dread. "Meet up at my room. I will have some food served before you return." He turns to the others. "I suggest you all rest for an hour and meet in my room for dinner. I need to inspect those books and see what is in them."
-----Seth continues to his room, then stops and finds Maime to ask her to prepare a feast, wine and ale for his companions.
-----Soon the Mistress of the inn enters Seths room with the food and drink that the musician ordered. Everyone eats and drinks as much as they want and then retire to their own rooms to rest up. Seth then takes the time to examine a few things in his room.
-----A while later, the Dread Pirate arrives, entering Seth's room and handing Seth the red satin bracers, saying, "Here ye go. Since ye didn't get much out o' those wizards we fought, except fer those books, I thought ye might like the bracers I happened to pick up off of that High priestess before we chucked her out the window. The priests over at the temple of Ora were nice enough to identify them as being of a protective nature."
-----The Dread Pirate sits down and helps himself to a meal, assuming that there is anything left to eat after everyone else has gorged themselves. The two rogues sit in the room alone as everyone else has retired to their own rooms to rest.
-----Seth thanks Dread and puts the braces on to see how they look. Seth admires them for a while before saying, "Definitely they need to go under the sleeves of my shirt."
-----He nods at the spell books on the table and says, "I also found about one hundred fifty gold. I have handed out forty of that to the guards as their bonus. I'll keep about thirty gold to pay for our lodging here and split thirty each to Kazel you and me." He finds one of the pouches and counts out thirty gold and hands it to Dread, "I have some items I have collected over the last few days I would like identified as well. Tomorrow could you take me to the temple? We better steal some horses or money tonight to buy horses for the guards to ride."
-----The Dread Pirate nods at Seth, "Aye, we can swing by the temple. Fer some reason they seem to like me there. But ye might want to make sure that yer new bracers are well hidden from their sight, since they came from the corpse of their own high priestess. Which we kinda helped in her transition to corpsehood."
-----Soon the evening comes on and before everyone realizes it is nighttime. As everyone awakens and stretch out their stiff limbs, they gather in Seths room where they find the Dread Pirate snoring after eating the last part of the feast Maime had brought up. Seth continues to pour over his own new collection of books.
-----Marast slinks about and finally slumps down against the wall, the elfs eyes glowing in the candlelight. Runik curses to himself saying, "Damned ifn that witch thing in that temple didn go n give me some wild nightmares as I was asleepin.
-----Krord grunts and, laying his big hand on the back of his neck, tilts his head causing a snapping sound to come from his stiff neck. Brandel smiles at the huge guard while clutching his bow in his hand.
-----Everyone looks momentarily at Kazel in her peasant dress when a knock comes upon the door. The rap is quickly followed by a series of three rapid sneezes. Rolling his eyes, Runik lets Dalyor into the room.
-----The greasy-looking half elf enters wiping at his nose with his sleeve. Looking at the three rogues, he talks excitedly in his congested voice, "Ey!" he begins, "one o yer friends be lookin fer ya at the Boar's Head. It be that fella name o Sol. Says he be wantin ta talk wit ya. Ya wanna meet wit em or ya wants me ta ditch em?"
