-----Seth looks at Daylor over his books, "Did you talk to him direct or is he just asking for us in general? I suppose after yesterday’s episode he would know we are in town."
-----Dalyor’s first response is a loud unsuppressed booming sneeze that suddenly brings exploding high priestesses to mind. Shaking his head to clear it, he answers, "Ya, he found me n’ asked if’n I knew ya. I told ‘em I might know w’ere ya were."
-----Seth looks at Kazel and then Dread before asking the next questions. "What kind of state was he in? Was he injured, dirty or clean? Did he have friends with him? Did he look like he needed a meal?"
-----Seth looks back at Dread. "If he is on his own, you know this might be the perfect time for a trap!"
-----Dalyor grabs his head and his eyes look like they’re swimming with the sudden flurry of questions from Seth. "Ow!" he says, "Lemme see, he looked like he was dressed up. I think he had a couple o’ guards wit’ ‘em n’ he looked plum n’ healthy to me!"
-----The Dread Pirate rubs his chin indecisively, "Arrr, I dunno. We can't exactly claim to have been kidnapped by dark forces now, can we? Nor can we really stay incognito, after cleaning out the temple. We might as well talk to him. Maybe we'll get lucky and find out that Raven and Sarah have been keelhauled by the dark forces. I don't know if there be that much luck in the world though. Anyway, Sol wasn't that bad, just not very bright. The other two were just downright rude and inhospitable. It wouldn't hurt to find out what he wants anyway. We can always refuse to help him or go with him. I say we at least meet with him. What say the rest of ye?"
-----The Dread Pirate proceeds to divvy up the two hundred gold that Zharta had given him, "That oughta help with the extra horses."
-----Seth nods, secretly disappointed that no nasty tricks will be played. But then he remembers Sol teaching him to ride, and the thought goes away.
-----"I s'pose we can always get them later. Though I rather prefer our present companions, let's see what Sol has to say." Kazel then asks Dalyor, "Any news from Voruna?"
-----Dalyor leans forward and begins to whisper. At first everyone wonders why the hushed tones are coming from the half elf until it becomes apparent he is losing his voice. "Word is," he hisses out, "t’ings be lookin’ up ‘round Proat. Some o’ the undesirable element’s been stopped, due to you n’ yer former friends, and some o’ the lackeys that remain’re bein’ flushed out by Lady Voruna n’ ‘er folks."
-----The Dread Pirate shrugs, "I dunno, I kinda thought o' trappin 'em after they'd attacked Devlin's cave. Preferably from a concealed position, where they can't identify the three of us. It'd be a lot tougher to try and take him out here in town. Too many people will know who we are by now. Our names and faces. If the two of ye say we try it, then we'll try it. But I'm not much on favor o' tryin it here in town."
-----With that, everyone gathers everything together and prepares to meet with Sol.
