Chapter 6 – Sonya vs Kano pt 1
Sonya walked to her room with tears and thoughts of her boyfriend and partner.
“Kano will pay dearly. I WILL kill you, Kano.” Sonya sobbed herself to sleep. This is just what it takes to get a hard stern woman to cry. One man has made her do what was the impossible, make her cry. No one has ever seen her cry before.
An hour past and a minion of Shang Tsung, wakes Sonya and told her match is in an hour. Sonya didn’t want to fight at all. She just wanted to leave the island. She now had a little fear of Kano. He has killed many people that Sonya known and now its only her left. She doesn’t want to be the only one left to die alone. Sonya sluggishly leaves her room and clears up her face so no one knows that she’s been weeping. She does a good job holding her tears and hiding it. She gets to the battlefield with a lone guy standing there. Shang Tsung appears by walking and sitting on his throne but before he sat he caught the attention of everyone.
“Spectators and bystanders… before we start this match, I must warn you that this match will be very emotional, as I will replace Sonya’s opponent with the one and only… Kano.” Shang Tsung slyly said.
Sonya’s ears perked up at the sound of his name and a fit of rage started building. Memories of her partner and her fiancé shot through her mind. Kano walked out in front of her as she turned to face him. Not to mention, her face was beat red.
“Aww… blushing already?” Kano said in a smartass tone.
“You… bastard…” Sonya started to say
“Well, tell me something I don’t know, love.” Kano interrupted
“Begin!” Shang Tsung announced.
“Don’t ever call me that.” Sonya yelled as she started to move towards Kano.
Kano saw that she was making a dastardly dash in his direction. He move out of the way and swung and missed. Sonya backhanded him in his face. Her face was still raging with some type of emotional pain. She backed her fist up and nailed Kano dead into his face. Kano lost his balance and fell on his rear but quickly jumped back up to a kick to his chin. Kano once again was fazed by the hit and fell to his knees. He grabbed a handful of sand and when Sonya came near he threw it in her face. She was blinded by the sand and Kano punched her in the face rather hard. Sonya was holding her face and fell to the ground.
“I will finish you like I did you other mates but I wonder how should I kill you. I’ll make this very special.” Kano agitated.
Sonya tried to get up but Kano gave a swift kick to her stomach. She flipped over and held her stomach. Soon the sand began to wear off but Kano didn’t have to know.
“Oh, I will say this. Your fiancé had lots of love for you. Since I found out you were an agent. I told him to kill you and swore that he would never do such a thing. The last things he said before I shot him was that he died saving you. Such petty love. I don’t think your capable of loving, can’t you Sonya Blade?” Kano continued to agitate.
Just then Sonya had a quick upsurge of hate and then got her feet stuck in the air and grabbed Kano by his neck. She tightened the grip and Kano kneed her in her back. She went with the force of his knee and flipped up onto his shoulders. She started to punch Kano in his face for as long as her balance could last. She then threw herself back down and brought her legs with her. Kano went with her legs and nailed his head into the sand. Her grip was cut short and she moved away quickly. She stood up and kicked him all over the place. Kano got to his knees and Sonya circled for a good hit and found one. She wound up a kick and let the kick go and flattened Kano’s balls. Kano flopped around a bit and Sonya yelled that he doesn’t deserve them. Kano again got onto his knees to get up but Sonya wouldn’t allow that and kicked him square in the face. He fell straight back in an awkward position but wasn’t knocked out.
Kano began to be irate for a reason. He thought that a woman kicking his butt would shame him in a big way but he sought something in his boot. He just patted it and said to himself that ‘it won’t let him down, it never has’. Kano got up to a red faced Sonya and instead of countering a strike he pleaded with her.
“C’mon babe. I really didn’t mean to hurt any of those people. I’m honest.” Kano pleaded
“Honest? Kano being honest… what a bunch of bullshit. You killed them because they wouldn’t do what you want.” Sonya answered back.
“I would do it all over again if I had the chance.” Kano then said as he rose.
He then came up with an uppercut to Sonya. She held her jaw because of the pain. Kano started squaring her in the face very hard. Sonya was just taking the hits. After Kano began to tired of the hit, Sonya has a bloody lip and her nose started to bleed. Swelling on her eye started to develop. Pretty much Sonya didn’t look like Sonya at all. She looked like a bloody mess. Kano didn’t look so hot either. His nose was gushing blood and a gash around his metal plate because of Sonya kicking it into his skin a little deeper. Meanwhile, Kano took another blow to her forehead with his fist. She looked like she was going to pass out but she was tremendously moving slow like she was going to.
