Chapter 12 – Goro, Undefeatable?

Raiden teleports to where Shang Tsung and his champion of Mortal Kombat is. Goro, a half dragon and half human being steps up and bellows that he has all power to destroy anything that comes to him.

Shang Tsung ordered the rest of the remaining fighters to fight Goro one on one. Every five minutes, Goro killed each fighter with a couple of hits. Liu Kang over and decided that he wanted to fight Goro. Shang laughed to himself and said that this would be a match for the ages.

Shang shouted begin and Goro dropped his arms onto Liu Kang. He picks up Kang with his bottom arms and began to pummel him with his top arms. Kang dropped to the floor hurt and bruised. He rose quickly and gave a quick punch to Goro’s abdomen and score a excellent hit because Goro gave a breathless grunt. Kang kept the pain going and punched Goro into his gut three more times and Goro started to hold his stomach with two arms.

Goro looked at Kang and said to himself that he cannot believe that he can lose to a peon like Kang. Goro went for a swing and missed and Kang landed an elbow into his kidney. Goro began to grunt rather loud and began to turn red.

“You will not defeat me. I have all the power possible to defeat you.” Goro said.

Kang stood up and watched as Goro wondered why he kept thinking that he could beat anyone he wants. Kang saw an opening and went to kick Goro in his stomach but Goro seemed ready and grabbed his foot and slammed Kang very hard, almost face first.

Kang rolled over and saw Goro’s foot coming down on him. Luckily Kang moved in time. Kang did some sort of flip up and then hit the back knee of Goro. Goro lost his balance and fell on his back. As Goro was falling, no one notice that a rock was in the path that would have fallen upon. As Goro fall on the rock, it lodged up near his kidneys and all the punishment that Kang caused kind of added to the pain and Goro couldn’t stand.

Shang dropped his drink and said to Kang that he’ll never win and left in a hurry. Kang soon followed. Goro finally got up and was so ashamed of himself and walked away from everyone.

Raiden looked upon this as a triumph and watch as Shang ran away to his castle. Raiden then zapped himself in front of Shang Tsung.

“Looks like everything is not going the way you want it, now is it.” Raiden said.

“Fuck you, Thunder god. You did something to them. I will find a way to destroy these bad turn of events.” Shang Tsung hastily said.

“I also saw that your ninja’s were total opposite of what you thought of them.” Raiden also added.

Shang Tsung grabbed Raiden by his throat.

“Raiden, I will have my victory and you… will… watch.” Shang Tsung angrily replied.

“Unhand me or I’ll count this as a challenge towards me.” Raiden commanded.

Shang Tsung let go quickly and stormed off towards his castle. Raiden lifted his hand off to the side of Shang and gave him a little scare by have lightning strike the round next to him.

“Next time you touch me, it’ll be on you.” Raiden promised.
