Chapter 11 – Sub-zero vs Scorpion
Sub-zero wondered blindly around and then fell over a rock. He then grasped something that felt like a foot of someone. Sub-zero then back away and tried to see who it was but couldn’t recognize it. All he saw was the color yellow.
“Murderer!” Scorpion screamed.
With that word Sub-zero knew exactly who it was.
“Scorpion! You should know better to fight me at a disadvantage.” Sub-zero said
“I’m not going to kill you… just yet… I want to fill you with so much pain to you gave me.” Scorpion then answered.
The battle ensues and Scorpion catches Sub with a quick punch in his face. He hits the ground rather hard and tries very hard to see out of his eyes. He squinted a certain way and he was able to see a little now. Sub slid up sweeping Scorpion because he knew that he was right next to him. Scorpion fell onto his back and rolled over and jumped up as Sub-zero laid a heavy kick that was targeted to Scorpion’s chest but went into the ground.
Scorpion kicked Sub right in his face and he flipped onto his back. Scorpion started to choke Sub by pressing his foot on his throat.
“You killed me and my family.” Scorpion
“I told you before that I didn’t kill your family or your fucking clan.” Sub-zero said with an annoyed tone.
“You won’t admit it. You know you did. I just want to know why you had a motive to kill me in the first place. We both were after the same thing.” Scorpion asked.
“You were just in the way of my mission and a direction for that was that I was to kill anyone who interferes.” Sub-zero answered.
“Well, revenge is sweet with the death of you. If the map had you kill me then I believe you shall receive the same fate.” Scorpion said.
Scorpion tightened his grip with his foot on Sub’s neck but Sub threw an ice blast his face. Scorpion was knocked back in a sort of flip and landed on his stomach. Sub-zero got to his feet still a little blind because all he could see was a big blur so he still couldn’t make things out. He looked where Scorpion had fell but couldn’t see the blur of the yellow outfit. Then he heard a ‘Get over here’ and turned around. Sub saw a very blur coming towards him but had very little time to react and stuck his had out and let an ice blast hit the thing but the force of the object was going way too fast and went through his Ice blast, through his hand and into his skull. Sub-zero was now in shock but not dead. He felt something enter his head and began to feel very light headed.
He then felt a sharp tug. His eyes then cleared right up and saw Scorpion pulling on a rope. With one last tug from Scorpion, Sub-zero could see no more as his head was separated with his body. The last words was that he didn’t kill his clan but that was in a whisper and Scorpion couldn’t hear it.
Visions went through Sub’s head as he soon began to die. From retrieving the map from years ago and then ripping Scorpion’s head off and then now seeing that Scorpion had now ripped his head off. Sub-zero’s spirit lifted itself and left the scene into the heavens but was catapulted into hell.
“Good Job Scorpion, all your achievements made you fulfill your wish.” Raiden said as he walked to Scorpion.
“Thunder God… You have no place to be here.” Scorpion said as he retrieved his spear from the skull of Sub-zero.
“I’m all over. I even witnessed this battle. So that you killed Sub-zero, what are you going to do now?” Raiden asked.
“Shang Tsung and Goro are no threat to me because I simply don’t care. I fulfilled my own mission and I will return to where I came from.” Scorpion answered.
Raiden gave him a look and an instant, Scorpion turned to ash and a swift wind blew his ashes into oblivion.
“Back to the Netherealm. I wished he would of stayed to fight Shang Tsung. Oh well, his choice.” Raiden said to himself as he teleported away.
