Adding another notch to the lipstick case.

Fiction challenges, or FC's as we call them, are writing prompts issued by a list or web page owner in order to get the readers thinking, and encourage them to write their own stories. (Of course, they are the exact prompts, and none have been shortened or editted.) Often, you find that from a single prompt and a couple of guidelines, several different stories can appear. My prompts came from Lady and BB from TheWorld ML, and if you have never read any of Lady's work, I highly encourage you to get in touch with someone who has some. She currently has two books out: Vinciguerra and Eden in the Afternoon, which can be found at half.com under the name Elaine Castillo.

Okay, first things first: GUIDELINES!

* The stories can be entered at any time.
* Must have the FC number with the title in the subject box.
* 1000 words or less, may vary from story to story.

FC # 1   -   "MOM"
         The world is said to be ending in three (just 3) minutes, and people are on some kind of distant communication, ie. NO talking face to face. At least one person must know, and one must be an *N Sync member.

FC # 2   - "A Visitor for Emily"
         3 people are trapped in a room/enclosed space. One has a secret that may or may not be revealed. One must be an *N Sync member.

FC # 3 - "A Save for a Save"
       The majority of us have seen *N Sync whether in appearances, fiction, tv, or otherwise. However, in 1000 words or less, show an outtake of a particular appearance/fic/show/ and so on and so forth. What happens behind the scenes?

FC # 4 - N/A
          Chronicle human life from birth to ?, as best you can. Must be under 2000 words.

FC # 5 - N/A
          - a - Joey dies - must use the phrase, "I would like my enema on Tuesday, please."          OR
          - b - The fictional life of an element.

FC # 6 - N/A
          Two people (or more) are freezing their asses off in a cabin in . . . I don't know, Antartica or Alaska, or some other A country. But THERE IS ONLY ONE VERY SMALL BLANKET. What happens? This story does not have to include *N Sync.

BB FC # 1 - "Spirit"
       *N Sync. And a puddle. I know, I know, it's odd. But you can do whatever you like with the puddle. It can be a little puddle, or a great big puddle, a puddle of wine, a puddle of blood . . . whatever. But the puddle is the main part of the story.          1000 words or less.

BB FC # 2 - N/A
         There are people. In a room. And . . . it's kinda dark. (It gets better, trust me.) The room has some kind of theme. Any theme, meaning, color, person, shape . . . whatever. Any number of people can be in the rooom, but one of them must be carrying a fuzzy object (|grin|) And it must contain the word 'fiddle.'          1000 words or less.

BB FC # 3 - "Now in Dreams, We RUN."
        Must contain or bebased on the song "Be Like That" by 3 Doors Down. I'll provide the lyrics, and if you don't have the song, or havent heard it, try Napster . . . if ya want. :) The fic doesn't have to include the lyrics (in fact, they're usually better if they don't) or *N Sync. . . If you get just a feeling, an image, a scene from the song, that's enough. :)
