Our group will draw to the attention of Governments and business the impacts that the planned expansion by the Port of Hastings Corporation to operations and facilities at the Port of Hastings site on Westernport Bay including rail, road and freight infrastructure will have on:-

• Westernport Bay environment.
• Social environment.
• Health.
• Economy.

It is believed that the consultation processes thus far have been significantly flawed.

Our group asks the Governments and organizations involved to acknowledge the strong public objection to this project and ensure that the views of the Victorian community are taken into account. It is also our goal to have put into legislation by State Government that Westernport Bays' fragile environment is permanently protected by law.
