Ethel’s is a sit down restaurant that turns into a bar at night. Located at 114 King Street North, Ethel’s is like many other pubs, with no cost for entrance. The size of Ethel’s is quite small, with the largest section being the outdoor patio. With this being said, if you plan on going to Ethel’s on a popular night, make sure the weather is nice otherwise you may not find a table.
Ethel’s kitchen is open at all times. The food is great and there are deals on certain meals every day of the week. The most popular of these deals is Taco Tuesday’s where you can get 4 tacos for the low price of two bucks. Other great deals for specific deal can be found on the Ethel’s website. But don’t plan on getting a seat if you arrive late as the capacity is very low, especially if the patio cannot be used.
There is a pool table, but not much else for entertainment. So go with friends and an empty stomach if you’re looking to have a fun evening. This is also a great place to begin an evening if you want to grab a beer and some food before heading out to a more entertaining bar. But if you want to watch a game on the TV’s with some friends, Ethel’s is a great bar in a good location.
