Winning the Wakehurst Tiger’s Pitch and Putt Challenge with a maximum handicap of 27, Terrey Hills 2002 (Burglar)

Worst Sports Moment:

Getting a straight red in the last ten minutes of the 2002 Grand-Final vs Brookie from my favourite referee (see Favourite Sportsman)

This ageless, loyal, Tigers stalwart always gives his all when donning the treasured Orange and Black. Not one to take a backward step on the pitch, this is where he earned his nickname. One season, after getting sent off for the 12^th time, it was discovered that he approached a committee member to inquire about a refund on his fees as he’d missed so many games. Nice try Lenny!

Once Lenny hangs up the boots he has aspirations of joining the Wakehurst Soccer Club Committee. He’d love to work his way up the ranks and one day follow in the footsteps of his idol, Con Pithos, and become President. “What could be better upon retirement than get involved in Committee meetings and rumbling with the big boys”
