The goal of this animation was to be able to animate multiple symbols on the timeline, each with a nested animation which could be re-purposed for multiple objects.

I rotoscoped a real photo of a bat and animated its wings in Flash CS4's timeline. The camera zoom effect was done by scaling the objects in the background up over time. A motion path was assigned to each bat's symbol to create their change in direction during the flight.
