We are up early to head for Prince George, BC.

We are starting out very close to Jasper National Park. We had hope to camp but we have decided to drive through Jasper Park and the adjoiningMount Robson Park and spend the night in Prince George i. British Columbia.

As we arrive at the park we can see the Rockies. There is still quite a lot of snow on the mountain tops.

The rivers are running fast and deep from the Spring runoff. The weather has cleared up but it is too damp to put up a tent. We have camped here before and it is beautiful.

We saw a deer by the roadside and wolves up the hill. We have not seen any bears but they are probably around as there are bear proof garbage containers with difficult to reach handles bears can't reach.

As we leave Jasper Park, we are entering Mount Robson Provincial Park. In Mount Robson Park there is a marker for the Great Divide.East of here the rivers run towards the Atlantic Oncean. West of here they run down to the Pacific.

This is Mount Robson. There is a fascinating set of photos in the cafe, showing the first successful climb to the top, followed by celebratory coffee in that cafe when they arrived back.

We saw deer and an eagle. There are lots of birds here.
