Outside Prince George there are fields and some farming but as we drive North it becomes more hilly. As everywhere in British Columbia there are beautiful wild flowers.

However, very soon, we see large mountains again. Smithers is a small town at the foot of a mountain. People go there to ski in the winter.

I stood at the door of the laundromat today staring up at cliffs and snowcaps.

It is getting very hot and the roads are very dusty. People are saying how hot it is for the time of year. We see on TV that it is hotter here than in the rest of Canada.
