It is for this reason that the Chapter Board, headed by no less than Jing Legaspi, wasted no time in planning and implementing a battery of programs of activities for FY 1999-2000 and 2000-2001.

The past two years have been packed with board meetings loaded with ideas coming from brains afflicted with diarrhea and General Membership Meetings with seminars enriched with information relevant, if not vital, to our person and profession.

Needless to say, our events were not solely on a Chapter level, the District, too, benefited from the Chapter's participation thru our joint activities with other District B-3 Chapters.

Moreover, our valued suppliers were not left out in the cold.��We dedicated some General Membership Meetings, particularly to get to know the products, their applications and to develop rapport with their representatives.

With all these into account, one would ask, what time did we waste.��Actually, we did, we waited the time it would have taken to make the other activities a reality for the simple reason that we only had a pocketful of time to spent; we needed another day . . .

In 1997, during the term of then President, Arch. Ricco Palomera, the UAP Para�aque-Palanyag Chapter launched one of the firsts, if not the first UAP web site.��In a collaborative effort of Arch. Gregorio Aragon and Arch. Serge Chua, Jr., the Webpage was officially presented to the members during the Chapter Christmas Party on that same year.

The homepage proudly bears the Chapter's Logo.��In a click of a button, one can get information regarding the members, the history of the Chapter, updates of Chapter Activities and much more.��This feat has garnered a district citation for "Best Chapter", for contributing to information dissemination, through a medium via the Internet.��This was during the term of District Director, Arch. Nanette Segovia.

This virtual office got the attention of would be members and gained for the Chapter a new webmaster in the person of Arch. Wayne Matthew J. Jaro.
