 What type of skill is it?

It is a technique developed in Europe many years ago to remove dents (on cars) by massaging the metal from the inside out. In the UK it is called SMART Repairs. It is thus an advanced & sophisticated manner in repairs, in that there is no spray painting, cracking or affecting the original paint.

This concept is specially and only used on the latest models of cars, because they are made of soft metals. It is still a developing skill in South Africa, and it is in a great demand in the motor industry. This is a highly technical skill, which involves much dedication and practice. Research has proven that paintless dent removal has been around for about 34 years in the United Kingdom and the same is now happening in South Africa, There is such a demand for trained dent technicians that the starting of a training academy to fill this gap was unavoidable. We assess each prospective student prior to acceptance on the course, thereby eliminating the possibility of training people who are not for this skill.
