Wish is, hands down, the single pinkest series that CLAMP has done. Even beyond CCS. I love it.
          And now, it's name time. As in, some names are translated and some aren't. I've stuck with using all of the Japanese names, with one exception, and that's for Kokuyou. I'm translating his name. He's Obsidian. No reason, other than I think of him as Obsidian. Yell at my friend Irina. She read it in the French, and would use the French names (sometimes) translated into English when she talked to be about it. Obsidian stuck, because it's just so f*ckin' cool. Even when I was reading his name in the Japanese, he was Obsidian. I would translate all of the names for continuity, but the problem is that that gives a gender to two of the characters--Hisui and Kohaku, because they translate into "Jade" and "Amber," respectively. ("Kouryuu," BTW, means "Granite.")
