In ESTATE agents

Gee our estate agents are pretty dumb they get phone calls from people who say "We want to view that property in half an hour and if not we will buy another house because we want to buy a house today"

It's Sunday afternoon so you got no guarantee you are going to like any house you see or that your offer will be accepted in one day and what surveyor are you going to ring? Has your mortgage application even been accepted? What you gonna buy cash? The estate agents say well if we re arrange it for later or tomorrow they would have already bought a property by then.

Alarm bells start ringing.. hehe

HAHAH
We for one would not allow such a suspicious buyer never mind such a suspicious phone caller into our property, yet our estate agents has twice given us such a phone call. Half an hour? You can kiss my butt :) If someone seriously wanted to view your house they would not make demands like that and they would certainly accept waiting until the next day. We wouldn't want such a hasty person to even look at our property.. haste in viewing haste in withdrawal of offer, in my eyes. We have never viewed a property the same day.

So one of a few things..The young estate agent is getting his mates to view properties in their lunch hours to make him look good in his new job, the estate agents don't really have any viewers and know that half hour notice is just not acceptable hence saying if not in half an hour then never (hehe) or someone is trying to wind us up.

Besides we are having all our carpets fitted for Christmas so I don't want no one in until two weeks time .
But in anycase , we can't be wound up :) If things don't make sense they were never real.
It's christmas and we will be going multiple agency we told our estate agent today that we are off the market that gives time for our sole agency to expire , but as soon as christmas is over back we go, we are not in any rush at all , out by next Christmas will do :) they will also have instruction only to allow people registered with them or they know really are actively looking and a landline number for communication only and that we won't accept people who make such nonsense phone calls. So if your the wind up merchant you will have to go a bit more out of your way next time and as soon as you give a land line number you can be assured you will be pestered by Estate Agents for the next six months and have all sorts of companies ring you up.
