�How are you doing, Sunn?� Howard asked.
�I�m all right,� Sunshine replied. �But Nicky thinks I�ll be safer here with him.� Nickolas grinned and shrugged. �He doesn�t care that I can take care of myself.�
�He�s entitled to worry,� Kevin said.
�She�s got a slight concussion and fractured ribs,� Nickolas pointed out. �I don�t want her left alone.� Sunshine looked at him. �So what�d I miss?�
�Nothing much,� Kevin said. �We�re still working on the same song.�
�They�re just not liking it,� Alexander added.
�An all nighter?� Nickolas asked.
�Most likely,� Brian said.
�Great,� Sunshine said.
�It�ll be worth it in the end,� Alexander said.
�Yeah I know,� Sunshine agreed smiling. �I love hearing Nick sing anyway.�
�Ain�t she great?� Nickolas asked kissing her and they all smiled.
�Nick, why don�t ya get in there so we can do this,� the producer suggested.
�Right,� Nickolas said looking at Sunshine.
�I�ll be here when you�re finished,� Sunshine assured him. �Don�t worry about me.� He just smiled and went into the other room. �He�s such a worry wart.�
�He loves you and just wants you safe,� Brian stated.
�But he treats me like a child half the time,� Sunshine replied. �Do you treat Dani like a child?�
�No, because we have Adrianna and Brayden,� Brian said. �Maybe when the babies come he�ll start treating ya like a woman.�
�The only time he treats me like a woman is in the bedroom.�
�That�s not so bad,� Alexander said and Sunshine looked at him. �What?�
�And that�s why you have Paradise, Alexander, Brock, and another one or two on the way. Brock�s not even a year yet.� Alexander just smiled. �Men are pigs and have no respect for women.�

�That�s why you got Des in the bedroom all the time.�
�I want a big family.�

�Ain�t that the truth,� Howard agreed and they all laughed.
�So how are Caroline and Tyler?�
�They�re good.�
�And Josephine?�
�She�s good also.�
�Good.� She nodded and looked at Kevin. �How are Serena, Dakota, and Kyle?�
�They�re doing great,� Kevin said.
�And Dayton?�
�He�s good too. As is Venus.�
�That�s good to hear. I haven�t seen anyone in forever it seems like.�
�Maybe you should get together.�
�Every time I want to they�re always �busy�. I�m surprised Dani found time to have my babies.�
�She was honored you asked,� Brian said.
�I didn�t ask. She volunteered.�
�Really?� Sunshine nodded. �She said you and Nick asked.�
�Nope; Nick and I were talking about a surrogate the one day she was visiting and she volunteered.�
�So she lied to me then.�
�Apparently so. Sorry dude.�
�It�s not your fault. She could�ve been honest with me.�
�Maybe she thought you�d be angry if you knew she volunteered,� Kevin suggested.
�Why would I be?� Brian asked. �I think it�s generous of her to help out a friend in need.�
�Too bad she doesn�t want to hang out though,� Sunshine stated. �The only time I see her is at the doctors and the other girls; forget it. They only want to do stuff when they suggest it. Which is whenever I�m not around. I bet if you call one of them right now they�ll be with the others.�
�You�re just being paranoid,� Kevin said.
�I am not. Call V right now and see what she�s doing.� Kevin just looked at her. �Go on and do it.�
�Ok I will.� He got out his cell phone. �Just to prove you wrong.�
�I�m not wrong.�
Kevin dialed Venus� cell. �I�ll bet you $500 you�re wrong.�
�You�re on.� They shook hands.
�Venus, Baby, hey. How are you doing?� He and Sunshine looked at each other. �Are you alone?�
�No,� Sunshine answered for him. �I�m with Danielle, Destiny, and Josephine.�
�Really?� Kevin said into the phone. �Ok then�I just wanted to check in�I will�I love you too, Baby�give the kids a kiss for me�bye.�
He turned off the phone and Sunshine said, �Well?�
Kevin sighed and asked, �Will you take a check?� Sunshine smiled and nodded. �You were right. They�re all at Brian�s house having breakfast before they head to work.�
�I knew it. They got too good for me or something now that they have kids.�
�They still love ya though,� Howard said. �Just like us.�
�I�m glad to hear that. I love ya�ll too.�
�What�s going on, guys?� Nickolas asked stepping from the other room. �Why ain�t the mic working?�
�Why don�t you guys take an hour to do whatever and we�ll get this fixed,� the producer suggested. �We�ll call when it�s ready.�
�Alright,� Kevin said and they all walked out.
�So where are we going?� Alexander asked.
�In here,� Nickolas said pulling Sunshine into a dark empty room.�
�What the hell are you doing, Carter?� Sunshine questioned and Nickolas kissed her.
�I thought we could have desert early,� Nickolas answered continuing to kiss her. �Plus we have some unfinished business.�
�Right; I bet you broke that microphone on purpose.�
�So what if I did. What are you going to do? Bend me over your knee and spank me?�
�Sounds fun.� She smiled and kissed him. �But I was just going to throw ya on your back and get on top of ya. You know the song, Carter; save a horse ride a cowboy.�
�But I ain�t a cowboy.�
�You can be my cowboy for a little while.�
�Sounds exciting.� He lifted her up and she wrapped her legs around him as he put her against the wall.
