�We really should�ve waited for Sunn though,� Jane stated.
�I told you she wasn�t feeling well,� Nickolas lied and they all looked at each other knowing it wasn�t true. �I�ll save her a piece.�
�Did Sunnie Jo tell you the good news?� Danielle asked.
�And what would that be?� Nickolas asked in return.
�You�re having twins,� Danielle replied and Nickolas looked at her.
�No she didn�t. Wow.�
�Congratulations,� they all said and Nickolas gave a little grin.
�Thanks.�
�Sunn and I found out at the doctors today,� Danielle stated. �I�m surprised she didn�t tell ya, because she was really excited and couldn�t wait to share the good news with you.�
�I don�t know.� Sunshine walked into the kitchen and Nickolas looked at her. �Hey, Sweets.� She just glared at him as she got her medicine off the counter and a bottle of water out of the refrigerator. �Would you like a piece of my birthday cake? It�s chocolate; your favorite.�
�Shove it up your ass, Carter,� Sunshine said starting upstairs.
�Ya know I�d rather cover you in it and eat it off you.� Sunshine just held up her middle finger and he grinned while watching her.
�I just got a nasty image,� Josephine said putting her plate down. �I don�t think I�ll be eating cake ever again.�
�Sounds fun,� Alexander said and they all laughed.
�He never gets enough,� Destiny stated. �That�s why I�m seven months pregnant right now.� They all laughed again and Nickolas just shook his head. He picked up a plate of cake and went upstairs.
Nickolas walked to the bedroom and opened the door and saw Sunshine lying on the bed. He smiled and walked over to her. She just looked at him as he put the plate of cake on the stand and sat next to her. She only continued looking at him and he laid beside her. He put an arm around her waist and kissed her forehead.
�I�m sorry.� She sighed. �I should�ve told you when I was leaving and not write it on some stupid fucking calendar.�
�Yes you should have,� Sunshine said. �But you hurt me instead.�
�And I�m sorry, Sweets.�
�I just want it the way it was before I got pregnant, but it�s not going to happen.�
�Yes it will.�
�No it won�t, Nick, because that heartaches going to haunt us forever even after we have a family.�
�Yes it will, but I think a family will fill that emptiness inside.�
�It�s not going to be the same. We gave up our first two children for me. That was probably the biggest mistake we ever made.�
�Are you serious?�
�Yes.�
�Well I don�t think it was a mistake. I love you and I would make the same choice over again if I have to.�

�I love you too.� He kissed her and held her closer.
�I was going to invite ya to Germany so we could spend some time together.� She looked at him. �It�s true. I want us to get back on track.� She smiled. �Whenever I�m not in the studio you and I can cozy up in front of the hotel fireplace and keep each other warm.� They both smiled and he kissed her passionately. �Nothing and I mean nothing is going to change the way I feel about you.�
�I hope not.�
�Its not so don�t worry about anything.� He smiled. �You�re stuck with me for life and even in the after life you�ll be stuck with me.�
�I can�t wait.�
�So does that mean you�ll come to Germany with me?�
�I don�t know.�

�It�s just that I don�t want to leave Danielle. She�s pregnant with our babies and I��
�She�s going to be fine. She and Rok have two little ones of their own. She knows all the precautions and stuff. If anything happens they�ll call us.�
�But I want to be at the doctors appointments.�
�And we�ll be back before the next one I promise.� He gave her a puppy dace and buried his face in her neck. �Please, Sweets. I promise you won�t regret it.� He put light kisses on her neck and she got lost in the moment. He continued a few seconds more and then quickly lifted his head and looked at her. �What do ya say?�
�Why�d ya stop?�
�There�s plenty more where that came from if you come with me.�
�You�re going to use what I love to get your way, aren�t ya?�
�If I must and if that�s what it takes.�
�Well in that case then do we still have company?�
�Unfortunately.�
�Well we have some unfinished business.�

She chuckled and hit him playfully. �No. Tell them you and I have a lot of things that need to be discussed before you start work on the new album.�

�Gotcha.� He kissed her and quickly ran out of the room and back down stairs. �Hey guys, can ya do me a favor?� They all looked at him.
�And what�s that?� Danielle asked.
�Leave,� Nickolas said.
�Excuse us?� Jane said.
�Please leave,� Nickolas corrected himself and grinning.
�What for?� Alexander asked.
�Sunnie and I have a lot of things to discuss before we head to Germany tomorrow,� Nickolas replied. �If ya don�t mind.�
�Of course not,� Robert said.
�Thank you,� Nickolas said. �You can take the cake with you.�
�No, we got it for you,� Jane said. �You and Sunn enjoy it.�
�But not too much,� Alexander snickered.
�Right.� He pushed them out.
�You should let us clean up first,� Jane said.
�We can get it.� He followed them to the front door. �Good night and drive safely.�
�Night,� they all said walking out.
Nickolas closed the door behind them and locked it. He set the alarm and then ran back upstairs to Sunshine.
