�Ya know, Nick, this is all we�ve been doing the past few days,� Sunshine said. �Just lying in bed making love and not having conversation.�
�What�s wrong with that?� Nickolas asked. �I�m enjoying myself with my gorgeous sexy beautiful wife.�
�I�m glad you are, but when you come back from the studio you practically rip my clothes off.�
�Are you complaining?� He pushed the hair from her neck and kissed it.
�Well, no, but I don�t think a little conversation will hurt anything.�
�Who needs words, Sweets, when body language says so much more?� He smiled and got on top of her as he kissed her. �You drive me crazy.�
�I�m glad.� He smiled.
�Do you know why I love you, Sweets?�
�Tell me anyway.�
�I love you, because you�re smart, beautiful, fun, caring, loving, a wonderful friend, and you�re not selfish. You�re considerate towards others and you�re always there for people even when you have your own problems.� She gave a little grin. �And I love you most of all because you put up with my shit everyday and you haven�t left me yet because of it.�
�And I don�t plan on it.�

�Yeah; I hope so.� She kissed him. �Why do you love me?�
�Because you�re sexy.� She kissed him again.

�Yeah, well you�re a good kisser too.� She smiled and kissed him a third time and Nickolas shook his head. �What?�
�You�re something else.�
�You know I love you for the same reasons.�
�I know.� They both smiled. �I�m glad we have tonight together. It seems like it�s been forever since we got a night alone like this.�
�I know what ya mean. I just hope no one comes knocking on the door again or the phone rings.�
�Don�t jinx us, Sweets.�
�Sorry.� She kissed him and pushed him onto his back. She got on top of him and started kissing him again. �Do you remember that night you proposed and you got us that hotel room?�
�How can I forget that night? It was the best passionate night of my life, besides that first night together on the beach.�
�Yeah, well, I was thinking about that and remember that thing you did to me with your tongue and the whipped cream?�
�What about it?�
�Well, I was wondering, well hoping, you could do it again.�
�I don�t know. I think we used up the whipped cream the other night.�
�So we can skip the whipped cream.� She grinned and started kissing his chest.
�I guess we can.� She looked at him and smiled then kissed him. He rolled her onto her back again and she wrapped her legs around him as they continued kissing. �Uh, Sunnie.�
�What?� He stopped the kiss and they looked at each other. �What is it?�
�Um, we used the last condom a half hour or so ago.�
�Your point is.�
�Maybe we shouldn�t do this.�
�Nicky, we�re married; it doesn�t matter if we use protection or not.�
�What about the risk of pregnancy? You�re not on birth control. Because of the medicine you�re on and remember we don�t want to get pregnant right now.� She just looked at him. �Danielle�s having our baby and we agreed to wait.�
�Right.�
�So I�ll run to the store quick and get some more.� He kissed her. �I�ll be back before you know it.� He went to get up, but she stopped him.
�I don�t think one time is going to hurt anything. We did it before and nothing happened.�
�I know that.�
�Plus we went that whole time without protection.�
�And look what happened.�
�I thought we weren�t going to mention that again? We agreed on it, Nick. We agreed we wouldn�t remind each other of that heartache.�
�I know and I�m sorry.� He kissed her and there was a knock. �Ignore them and they�ll go away.�
�Yeah.� There was a continuous knock and Sunshine and Nickolas just looked at each other.
�Yo, Nick!� they heard Alexander�s voice. �Get off Sunn and open the door!�
�He�s never going to go away,� Sunshine said. �You do know that right?�
�Yeah,� Nickolas said getting up. He picked up his boxers and put them on then looked at his wife. �Cover yourself, please.� She smiled and picked up the robe lying by the bed. Nickolas watched her put it on then opened the door. �What the hell do you want?�
�We�ve been trying to get a hold of you for the past two hours,� Alexander said walking in. �Hey, Sunn.�
�Alex,� Sunshine said.
�What for?� Nickolas asked.
�They want us back in the studio a.s.a.p,� Alexander replied.
�Why?� Sunshine wanted to know. �You�re supposed to have tonight free.�
�Something about the song we just did today,� Alexander stated. �They�re not satisfied and want it redone.�
�Tonight?� Nickolas questioned.
�Yes tonight,� Alexander answered.
�Ugh!� Sunshine complained. �Every damn time.� She went into the bathroom and slammed the door shut.
�Why tonight?� Nickolas asked.
�I don�t know,� Alexander replied. �I understand your frustration, because I wanted to get some shut eye.� Nickolas just looked at him and shook his head. �Get dressed and we�ll meet ya in the lobby.� Nickolas just stood there and Alexander walked out.
�Sunnie,� Nickolas said and Sunshine slowly walked out of the bathroom. They looked a teach other and Nickolas walked over to her.
�When will ya be back?� Sunshine wanted to know.
�I hope it won�t take that long,� Nickolas replied.
�Shouldn�t there be laws about working this late in the studio?�
�Yes there should be, but there�s not.� She sighed and walked from him. �Sunnie.�
�Don�t worry about me, Nickolas. I�ll be fine.�
�I don�t want you to be upset.�
�I�m not. You have a job to do and I accepted that when we got married. If I wasn�t cool with it I wouldn�t have gone through with the whole thing.� He grinned. �Just go do what you have to do and I�ll wait up.�
�You don�t have to wait up, Sweets. Just get some sleep and if its not too late I�ll wake you up and we�ll finish what we were doing.�
�Whatever.� She sat in a chair and looked out the window as Nickolas got dressed. She just sat there not saying a word and Nickolas walked over to her and knelt in front of her.
�I know how much this sucks, but there�s nothing I can do.�
�I know that. You guys had your down time and I should have taken my time off then.�
�None of us knew when this was going to happen.�
�I know that too. I just�I just wish��
�I know. I wish we had more time too.� He kissed her.
�You should go. You have work to do.�
�I love you.� He kissed her again.
�I love you too.� He got up, kissing her forehead, and looked at her as she looked back out the window.
�I�ll be back later.� She just nodded and pulled her hand from his and he walked away and went out the door.
