The girls sat at Taco Bell for lunch with the kids around twelve. Danielle, Venus, and Destiny were on their lunch break and decided to join Josephine and Sunshine for lunch. Sunshine looked at the kids and then out the window at the passing cars. She started thinking about her and Nickolas� decision and tears came to her eyes. The girls looked at her then at each other.
Destiny looked at Sunshine and said, �Sunn, I want to thank you for watching the twins today.�
�Huh?� Sunshine said quickly wiping her eyes and looking at them. �It�s nothing. I don�t mind.�
�Are ya sure?�
�Yeah.�
�It�s just that they�re a handful and all.�
�Plus you got Adrianna as well,� Danielle added.
�It�s cool,� Sunshine assured them. �They give me something to do.�
�Alright,� Destiny said and Sunshine just grinned and looked back out the window.
�Are you all right, Sunn?� Venus asked.
�I�m fine,� Sunshine lied.
�Don�t lie,� Danielle said.
�I�m not,� Sunshine lied again. �I just�� She paused for a moment and they just looked at her. �Actually, I don�t know.� She wiped her eyes again. �I want Nicky to have the baby he�s been wanting to have since we met, but-but-but he might�he might lose me.� She wiped her eyes a third time. �If I-I-I don�t die I�ll be a cripple. What will he want with a cripple? Nothing, because I won�t be able to do anything for him.� She wiped her eyes yet again.
�Sunnie, nick loves you,� Josephine said. �And he always will love you no matter what happens. Nothing�s ever going to change that.�
�How do you know? You don�t know. Everything could change between us after the baby and if I survive I have no idea what to do.�
�Was this a planned pregnancy?� Danielle asked and Sunshine looked at her. �Did you want to get pregnant?�
�No. I�ll admit I was thinking about it and stopped the birth control.� She left out a heavy sigh as they just looked at her. �I didn�t think I�d end up pregnant so fast.�
�Well banging every day and night something is going to happen,� Destiny pointed out.
�We don�t bang every day and night. Even if we did it�s no one�s business since we are married.� She wiped her eyes. �I love Nick very much and I want him to be happy�even if it doesn�t include me.� They just looked at her. �All Nicky ever talks about is being a daddy and it�s so cute. I want his dream to come true and be happy. I��
�Wait a minute,� Destiny interrupted. �Just wait a minute. Are you telling us you�re going to go through with this pregnancy?�
�If it makes Nick happy.�
�But you�re putting your life at risk,� Josephine stated and Sunshine shrugged.
�I just want Nicky happy that�s all.�
�By putting your life in danger,� Venus replied. �Shouldn�t you talk to Nick about your decision to see what he has to say? I mean, what if this decision you�re making isn�t the right decision to make. How do you know this will make Nick happy?�
�Because it will. This is what he wants.�
�You don�t know that,� Destiny said. �Nick doesn�t want to lose you. He�d go insane if he did.� Sunshine just looked at them.
�And I�m in labor,� Josephine said.
�What?� the girls said.
�I�m going to have a baby, like, right now and they ain�t waiting.�
�Someone call an ambulance!� Destiny yelled. �She�s in labor!�
�I�m a doctor,� someone said running over to them.
�Did you ever deliver a baby?� Josephine asked.
�That�s my specialty,� the guy said. �Dr. Christian Martz. I�m going to need some wet clothes and some dry clothes right away. What�s your name, Honey?� He helped her onto the floor.
�Jo,� Josephine said.
�How far along are you?� Christian asked.
�Um, nine months. I�m having twins.�
�Then this should be interesting.� He smiled. �I never delivered a baby in a Taco Bell.�
�Neither did I.� They laughed.
�There�s a first time for everything,� Sunshine said and Christian looked at her.
�Ohh!� Josephine cried in pain. �They�re ready.�
�I�m going to need some room people so please back up,� Christian said as Josephine moaned again. �I only want her friends here.�
�Sunn, call Howie,� Josephine said. �Tell him to meet us at the hospit�ahh!�
�Make it quick Sunnie,� Danielle said.
�Right,� Sunshine said getting her cell and Christian looked at her again.

�Hey, D, ya made it,� Sunshine said as Howard got off the elevator. �She�s right this way.� She grabbed his hand and they started walking.
�I would�ve been here earlier,� Howard began, �but traffic was bad.�
�It�s understandable.�
�So what�d we have?�
�One boy and one girl.�
�Just like the doctor said.�
Sunshine nodded. �They�re beautiful.�
�I hope so. �Caroline Yvonne and Tyler Alexander.�
�Yep.� They turned a corner. �She�s right in here.� They went into the room and seen Josephine sitting on the bed with Caroline and Tyler.
�Howie,� Josephine said. �Come say hi to your children.� Howard walked over to the bed and looked at his children. �Don�t be afraid. Pick one up.� Howard picked up Caroline and Josephine smiled.
�Hey, Baby Girl,� Howard said as the girls just looked at him. �I�m your daddy.�
�I thought it was that cute waiter at NYPD,� Sunshine snickered and they all laughed. �Silly me.�
�Where are the others?� Danielle asked.
�They stayed at the studio to finish up the song,� Howard replied. �They�re going to stop by later if it ain�t too late.�
�Oh,� Sunshine said.
�How is the new mommy doing?� Christian asked stepping into the room.
�I�m all right,� Josephine said. �Howie, this is Dr. Martz. He did the delivery at Taco Bell.�
�Hi,� Howard said shaking his hand.
�Dr. Jeffres won�t be back until next Friday,� Dr. Martz said. �So I�m your doc on duty.�
�Where is Dr. Jeffres?� Sunshine asked.
�In Iowa. It was an important family matter.� He looked at her.
�Oh. Excuse me. I have a call to make.� She left the room with Christian watching her.
�When can we go home?� Josephine asked.
�Hopefully Friday,� Christian said. �Just as long as everything�s fine.�
�It will be,� Danielle said.
�I�ll be back later,� Dr. Martz said. �I have other little patients.�
He walked out and Danielle said, �I don�t like the way that cute doc is looking at Sunnie Jo.�
�What are you talking about?� Destiny asked.
�Haven�t you noticed the way he�s been looking at her?� Danielle asked in return.
�She�s a worldwide star and he just recognized her,� Venus said. �That�s all. No need to jump to conclusions.�
�I ain�t,� Danielle said. �I know what I saw.�
�Yeah, yeah,� Josephine said. �Guys look at her all the time.� Danielle just shook her head and picked up her new cousin.

�Um, Miss Robinson,� Christian said stopping Sunshine at the phones. �Do you have a second?�
�Um�sure,� Sunshine said. �And it�s Sunn.�
�Sorry.� He smiled. �I get a break in a half hour so I was wondering if you would like to go for a cup of coffee.�
�I can�t. Sorry.� She walked by him.
�Why not?�
She turned and looked at him then held up her left hand. �Because I�m happily married to the man of my dreams. Also it�s not Miss Robinson, but Mrs. Carter.� She smiled. �Mrs. Nick Carter, as in Backstreet Boy.� Christian just looked at her. �I�m surprised you didn�t know.�
�I had no idea. I�m sorry.�
�Yeah.�
�I feel like an idiot.�
�You should considering our marriage was all over the news.�
�Sorry.�
�You already said that. Excuse me.� She walked away, but could feel Christian�s eyes on her. She went to go back to Josephine�s room when her pager went off. She looked at it then walked back to the phone. She picked up the phone and noticed Christian still looking at her. She shook her head and dialed the number on the pager. She waited a few rings before someone answered.

�Are you still at the hospital with Jo?�
�Yeah.�
�How is she?�
�Good.�
�The babies?�
�Good. They�re so cute.�

�How are you doing? Are you feeling all right? You�re not in any pain are ya?�
�No, Nicky, I�m fine.�
�Is your BP all right?�
�Everything�s all right, Babes. I�m perfectly fine.�
�Are ya sure?�
�Yes. Stop your worrying.�
�I�m sorry. I haven�t seen ya all day. I just miss ya and want to kiss ya.�

�I�m just calling to say that I won�t be home until later tonight. They want us to start working on a couple more songs so it�s going to take awhile.�

�Bye.� Sunshine waited for Nickolas to hang up then hung the phone up herself. She stood there looking around and noticed Christian looking at her again. She reached in her pocket and got another quarter. She picked up the phone and dialed another number. She only waited one ring before someone picked up.

�Hey, Bradley, it�s Sunshine.�
�Hey, beautiful, what�s up?�
�I was wondering if you are free this after.�
�Actually yes I am. It�s one of those rare days off.�
�You�re not with Sunny?�
�No, she went back to Kentucky last night.�
�What for?�
�I�ll tell ya later.�
�So do ya want to do something then?�
�What about the husband?�
�He�s at the studio until tonight.�
�Oh, alright then. Should I meet you somewhere?�
�I�ll stop by after I leave the hospital.�
�The hospital?�
