�It�s nothing,� Sunshine lied as Nickolas continued looking at her.
�Don�t lie to us,� Destiny said smiling. �What�d he say?�
�We�re going to have a baby,� Sunshine said not looking at them and Nickolas lowered his head.
�That�s great,� everyone said simultaneously and Destiny leaned over and hugged Sunshine.
�You must be happy,� Destiny said.
�Ecstatic,� Sunshine said sarcastically.
�What�s wrong?� Kevin asked.
�Nothing,� Sunshine replied. �I just have to get use to the idea that I�m going to have a baby.� They just looked at her. �So, Jo and D, did you pick out any baby names yet? Ya got a month to go.�
�We settled on Caroline Yvonne for a girl and Tyler Alexander for a boy,� Josephine replied.
�Awe, that�s sweet to name her after D�s sister,� Sunshine said.
�It was Josie�s idea actually,� Howard said. �I was leaning towards Callen Mae, but she swayed me to Caroline.�
�That�s so sweet,� Danielle said.
�Yeah,� everyone else said and Nickolas asked, �Why not Howie Junior for a boy?�
�I don�t like Howard so why would I name my child it?� Howard questioned.
�Just wondering,� Nickolas said.
�Excuse me,� Sunshine said getting up and she walked out of the room.
�Alright, Nick,� Kevin began, �what�s going on now?� Nickolas stopped eating and sat back. �What is it?�
�We got some news while visiting the doc today,� Nickolas said.
�Of course you did,� Venus said. �You�re having a baby.� Nickolas just looked at her. �Unless you got��
�We did get bad news,� Nickolas stated.
�What�d he say?� Brian asked.
�Sunnie has an infection.� They just looked at him. �It�s a spinal infection she got when she was in Australia.�
�That was four years ago,� Josephine reminded them.
�Yeah. It spread.�
�Wow�um�� Alexander began, but didn�t know what to say.
�How bad is it?� Howard asked.
�Let�s just say it could kill her,� Nickolas replied.
�What?� everyone exclaimed.
�If we go through with the pregnancy it�ll either paralyze her or end up killing her.� They just looked at each other not knowing what to say. �We have to make a choice and hope it�s the right one.�
�I�m sorry, Nick,� Kevin said.
�What can I do, ya know? It�s Sunnie�s body.�
�But your child too,� Brian reminded him.
�I know.� He sighed.
�I�m sure Sunn will want you to have a say so too,� Alexander said. �She wants you happy just like you want her happy.�
�Of course she does.�
�You�ll just have to bear with her,� Kevin said.
�Look who�s awake,� Sunshine said walking into the room with Paradise, Alexander, and Adrianna.
�There are mommy�s babies,� Destiny said as Alexander ran over to her as Sunshine sat down with Paradise and Adrianna.
�Are you feeling ok, Sweets?� Nickolas asked.
�I�m fine,� Sunshine said smiling and giving him a kiss. �Don�t worry.� Nickolas just looked at her. �Nicky, I�m all right.�
�Are you sure?�
�Yes, so stop worrying.�
�He�s just looking out four you,� Kevin said.
�I know that. I want to thank him for not saying anything about my condition.�
�Sunnie, I�m sorry,� Nickolas apologized. �I just��
�I�m not mad. It just took the pressure off me of having to tell them.�
�We�re sorry,� Brian said.
�If you decide not to have the baby, but want one,� Danielle began, �I�ll be more than happy to carry one for ya.�
�Thanks, Dani,� Sunshine said.
�You�re welcome,� Danielle said.
�When are you do, V?� Nickolas asked.
�In five months,� Venus replied.
�Names,� Sunshine said.
�We�re not sure yet,� Venus said.
�But if it�s a boy we�re definitely going with Kevin Scott,� Kevin said.
�Cool,� Sunshine said.
�I�m leaving the girl names up to V,� Kevin stated.
�I like Misha Danielle,� Venus replied.
�That�s nice,� Destiny said.
�I like Dakota Rae,� Sunshine said. �Or MacKenzie Jade. Whichever is fine.�
�Why didn�t you ever give us baby names?� Destiny asked.
�Because you guys had them picked out the second you found out you were pregnant,� Sunshine pointed out. �V and Kev are unsure.�
�How far along are you?� Howard asked.
�Two and a half,� Sunshine replied. �We have up until my fifth to decide.�
�This is really upsetting,� Josephine said.
�Just imagine how we feel,� Nickolas said.
�I can�t begin to imagine,� Josephine stated.
�Can we not talk about this,� Sunshine requested.
�Sure,� Nickolas said.
�Thank you,� Sunshine said and looked at the two little girls.

�I can�t believe what�s happening with Sunn,� Josephine said. �Just when she thinks she gets rid of one problem another shows its ugly head.�
�Yeah I know,� Howard said. �It�s got to be tough for them, ya know.�
�Yep.�
�They�ve wanted each other from the beginning and Nickolas wanted a family with her.� Josephine nodded. �Then something like this happens; preventing them from having children.�
�Yeah.�
�Well they could, but it would put Sunn�s life at risk and Nick would go insane.�
�Yep.� She climbed into bed. �I don�t know what I would do if I had a decision like that to make.�
�At least we don�t have to.�
�Hopefully we never do.�
�I know. It�d be too much for me to handle. I don�t know how Sunn�s doing it. Look at all she�s been through.�
�She has Nick and he�s completely devoted to her.�

�I�d do the same for you.� She just looked at him. �What? You�re still not on the kick about me being in love with Sunshine are you?� Josephine didn�t say anything. �You have nothing to worry about. You and I are married and expecting our first child together. I don�t think life can get any better than this.�
�We�re expecting our first two.�
�I know.�
�Yeah.�

�They�ll have my beautiful looks and your charming personality.�

�Whatever.� He kissed her again.

�Nothing. The babies just moved.
�Really?�
�Yeah.� She took his hand and put it on her stomach.� Do you feel them?�
