�How�s Josephine doing?�
�She�s doing good and so are the twins.�
�That�s good to hear.� Sunshine nodded. �Would you like a drink or something to eat?� She smiled. �Let me guess�a snickers bar and mountain dew.�
�You know what I like.�
�Come on.� He took her hand and led her to the kitchen. �So how are ya doing? I haven�t seen ya in ages.�
�Funny. I guess I�m all right. What about you?�
�The same.� He got a can of mountain dew from the refrigerator and a snickers bar from a drawer.� He handed them to Sunshine and got the same for him.

�You�re welcome.� They walked out back and went down to the pool. �Nice day today.�
�Yeah.� She sat down and Bradley joined her a minute later. �So what�s going on with Sunny?�
�What isn�t going on with Sunny?� Sunshine looked at him. �She broke it off and went back to Kentucky.�
�I�m sorry, Brad. Did she give a reason?�
�You.�
�Me?� Bradley nodded. �Why? We�re just friends and she knows that. So what�s the problem?�
�She can�t come to grips with the fact that I have you on a pedestal and that I gave you a very big special piece of my heart.� She just looked at him. �I don�t think she wants to understand that.�
�Yeah, but she mist understand that she�s the one in your arms and not me. It doesn�t get any better than that.� He didn�t say anything. �Brad, don�t get me wrong here alright. Sunny�s a great girl and I love her dearly, but if she can�t see that she has the better part of you, but being with you, then that should show you that it�s not meant to be.�
�Do you think that�s true?�
She shrugged. �Maybe there is that chance that you�re meant to be, but there�s also that chance that you�re not.�
�Like you and Nick?�
�If you want to use us an example.� They smiled. �But Nicky and I are meant to be.� Bradley looked at her. �You might not believe it, but it�s true.�
�Maybe so, but I can�t get pass all he�s done to you.� She looked at him disgusted. �I mean it.�
�I know, but it�s getting old.� He grinned. �Maybe you should call Sun in a few days and talk to her.�
�I don�t know, because she made herself perfectly clear.� He took something from his pocket and handed it Sunshine. �Remember that?�
�You gave her this bracelet for you one year. She wore it all the time, even that time you spent apart.�
�I know.� He left out a sigh.
�I�m sorry.�
�Maybe I should�ve spent more time listening to her instead of talking about you all the time.�
�Or she was too stupid to realize that she had the best of you.� Bradley didn�t say anything. �Unless she�s in love with another man.�

�I don�t know.� She smiled. �You�ll work it out.�

�Whatever�s bothering you.�

�If you don�t want to talk about it that�s fine.�
�It�s just this big decision I need to make and�� She stopped herself from crying.
�What is it?� She got up and walked over to the pool. �Sunnie, come on. What is it?� She didn�t say anything and he walked over to her. �I�m your best friend and you know I�ll help you out anyway I can. You know that.�
�This you can�t help me out with. It�s very impossible. I made my decision though.�
�What decision? What are you talking about?�
She looked at him. �I�m pregnant, Bradley.�

�If I go through with this pregnancy I�ll either end up in a wheel chair or worse.�

�Telling people was the last thing on my mind.� He looked at her, but didn�t say anything. �Ya know, I�m actually supposed to be in Texas right now.�

�Yep, but they gave me some time off after I told them I had a medical condition and the doctor didn�t want me to work right now. They said I can do my scenes later.�

�So you said you already made your decision. What is it?�
�I�m going to go ahead and have the baby.�

�Going to have the baby. It�s what Nick wants and that�s what I�m going to give him.�
�And put your life at risk for him.�
�I love Nick and I�ll do just about anything to make him happy.�

�Sunshine, you�re only twenty-six and deserve a longer life.� She didn�t say anything. �Does Nick know about your decision?�
�No. I just made it today.�

�I�m also thinking about letting Nick make the decision.�

�I think it�s the right thing to do since it�s his future too.�

�I�m glad you do.� He smiled and wiped her eyes. �So what do you want to do?�

�Go to the movies?�
�Sure.�
