�Yeah, Sweets,� Nickolas said looking at her.
�Where�s my medicine?�
�In the medicine cabinet. Why?�
�My back is killing me.�
�You had your medicine before we left the hospital.�
�I know, but it hurts so much.� She laid on the bed.
�Aww, come to Nicky.� He laid on the bed beside her and took her in his arms. �Everything will be fine, I promise. As long as you take your medicine you�ll be thinking you don�t have any problems, because there won�t be any more pain.�
�If only that were true.�
�It is.� She put his hand on her lower back.
�Massage it then, because it really hurts.� He did as she requested. �That feels good.�
�Of course it does.� There was a knock and they looked to see Jane.
�Are you two coming back down?� Jane asked.
�In a few minutes,� Nickolas said.
�Is everything all right?�
�My back is just bothering me,� Sunshine replied.
�I�m trying to make her feel better,� Nickolas stated.
�You�re the only one that knows how to,� Sunshine said kissing him.
�I�ll leave you alone,� Jane said.
�Jane,� Sunshine said stopping her from walking out. �Come here a minute.� Jane walked over and sat on the bottom of the bed. �Does Venus really hate Nick?� Jane looked at her. �We heard what BJ said.�
�That�s what she said,� Jane answered. �It just might be post-partum depression too.�
�I ain�t buying that,� Nickolas said. �She hated me before and everyone knew it.�
�You shouldn�t jump to conclusions right away,� Jane said. �It could be anything.�
�I agree with Nick,� Sunshine replied. �She left everyone know before how she felt about Nick and we weren�t even together. Just because we�re married now ain�t going to stop her from doing it again. I�m glad I know how she feels.�
�Same here,� Nickolas said.
�But you shouldn�t let it bother ya,� Jane said. �It ain�t worth it, although Venus� been your friend a long time.�
�I ain�t going to let it bother me,� Sunshine said. �I�ve learned from the very beginning, when Nick came into my life, to not let what the girls say bother me or affect me in anyway. That�s why I befriended Bradley.� Nickolas shook his head and left out a disgusted sigh. �What?�
�I�m so sick of hearing about Brad Fischetti,� Nickolas stated.
�And I�m so sick of hearing about those damn video games you play.�
�Well they�re not a sexy girl and after me.�
�And Brad ain�t after me.�

�Don�t �Sweets� me, Carter. The whole jealousy bit is getting old and I just wish you would stop already. I married you, didn�t I?� She walked out of the room as Nickolas got up.
�Sunnie!� He didn�t go after her and looked at his mom. �Damn it, mom, what is wrong with me? Nothing I say or do is the right thing and I always upset her. I can�t do anything right and I always manage to screw up the perfect moments.�
�You�re trying too hard to keep her happy,� Jane said. �You don�t have to constantly prove to her you love her, because she already knows you do. She�s right though, Nick, you have to stop your jealousy of Brad. If you want it to last with Sunn then ya have to stop.�
�I do want it to last, but I always manage to screw things up.�
�You�ll work things out. She�s still here, ain�t she?�
�That�s the thing. I�m afraid that one day I�ll say or do the wrong thing and that�ll be the end. I�m afraid she�ll just up and leave because of me and my stupidity.�
�You�re not stupid. You�re a bright young man. You got Sunn back and you�re married now. That doesn�t sound like stupidity to me.�
�I just love her so much and I�m afraid to lose her.�
�And she loves you and that�s what�s keeping her here.�
�I picked her, because of that fear and gave up a chance to have children.�
�We all know how much you love her, but you can�t let that jealousy get the best of you.� She walked to the door. �Nick, I have faith in you that you�ll work this out. Perhaps you should talk to your wife. We�ll be waiting downstairs.� She walked out and Nickolas stood there thinking.

�I�m so glad you�re feeling better,� Bradley said as he and Sunshine stood in the kitchen. She stood there looking at the food and sighed.
�My appetite ain�t back though,� Sunshine said. �I feel like vomiting.�
�Ain�t your medicine helping?�
�Dr. Martinez said it�ll probably be a couple weeks before I have my regular appetite back. Even when I was pregnant I couldn�t keep anything down.� Bradley didn�t say anything. �But that�s in the past.�
�I�m here if you ever want to talk.�
�I know.� They hugged.
�When Brian called and said what was going on I wanted to rush back, but I didn�t. I knew if I you would yell and shit.�
�Did you come visit?�
�A couple times. Dr. Jackson didn�t want you to have too many visitors.�

�I visited when I could.�
�I�m sorry, but I just remember Nick.�
�It�s understandable, because he was with you everyday.�
�I don�t know anything he said, but I know he was there and that�s all that matters.�
�Yeah.�
�No matter what Nick and I go through or how many arguments we have our love for each other always seems to come out on top.�
Bradley hesitated and said, �You guys really are in love.�
�Yes we are. I love him so much; more than you can begin to imagine.� She sat down and smiled. �So did you talk to Sunny yet?�
�Uh�� He sat beside her. �We talked the other week and it�s definitely over.�
�I�m sorry.� She reached for his hand and he looked at her. �I�m sure you�ll find the one.�
�Yeah.� He sighed. �It just hasn�t happened in my 32 years.�
�But it will, I promise.� He didn�t say anything and just looked at her. �When that special girl comes into your life you�ll know it. I knew it when Nickolas came into my life.� She smiled and looked at him, as he continued looking at her. �What?�
�You�re always so beautiful; even when you�re not feeling your best.�
�Did you do something you shouldn�t have that I need to know?�
�Why would I?�
�You�re sucking up and trying to score points.�
�I didn�t do anything. I�m just being honest.� He grinned. �I�m always honest with you.�
�Yeah, so I know when you�re lying.� She smiled. �And you�re lying right now.�
�No I ain�t.�
�You�re hiding something from me and I�ll find out what it is.�

�I will just trust me.� Bobbie and Richard walked in. �Hey, guys.�
�Hey,� Richard said.
�Could we talk to ya a second, Sunn?� Bobbie asked.
�Uh�yeah, sure,� Sunshine said. �Could you excuse us, Bradley?�
�Sure,� Bradley said.
�We�ll catch up later,� Sunshine said.
�Yeah,� Bradley said getting up and kissing her hand. �Later.� He walked out.
�So what�s up?� Sunshine asked looking at Bobbie and Richard.
�Well, we really don�t want to bother you with this,� Richard said.
�But I was hoping you would talk to Nick,� Bobbi said.
�I always talk to Nicky,� Sunshine stated smiling.
�What I mean is,� Bobbie began, �talk to him about Rich and I.�
�Is he being a problem again? With your relationship?�
�Of course not,� Richard said.
�We just need you to talk to him,� Bobbie added.
�I�d be glad to,� Sunshine said.
�Thank you,� Bobbie said.
�But,� Sunshine started getting up and they looked at her, �if I don�t know what I have to talk to him about I can�t do it.�
�Ya just have to convince my brother how much Richard and I want to be together,� Bobbie said. �And get him use to the idea of us being together; that�s all.�
�I don�t think Nicky has a problem with you guys being together. The last time it was mentioned he said he was cool with it and happy that Rich makes you happy.�
�Well I really don�t think that in the next couple months he�ll be happy with me,� Richard said.
�Why not?� Sunshine wanted to know.
�Um�well�� Bobbie began, �we�re kind of going to have a baby.�
�Oh,� Sunshine said taking a deep breath and walking to the back door.
�We know it�s a bad time to tell ya,� Richard said.
�It�s all right,� Sunshine assured them. �It�s fine.�
�We just want you to talk to him about it that way he�s calm when we tell him,� Bobbie said.
�Right.�
�If you don�t want to we understand,� Richard said.
�It�s fine.� She took another deep breath to hold back her tears. �Are you going to get married?�
�Actually we are,� Bobbie said.
�Because you�re pregnant?�
�Of course not.�
�I asked Bobbie two months ago,� Richard pointed out.
�Before we found out about the pregnancy,� Bobbie added.
�How far along are you?� Sunshine asked.
�Three and a half months.�
�Well congrats.� She walked over and hugged them both. �I�m sure Nick will be cool with everything. By almost losing me, he�s come to realize the important values of life and that everyone needs to be with someone no matter what.� She grinned. �I�ll talk to him for ya though.�
�Thanks, Sunn,� Richard said. �No wonder Brad fell in love with you.� She looked at him shocked that Bradley was still in love with her after all this time. �You�re a great girl.�
�Yeah.� She didn�t know what to say. �But if you�ll excuse me.� She walked out.
�Brad�s in love with Sunn?� Bobbie asked.
�Yeah, still.� Richard said.
�Well don�t tell Nick; he already has Aaron, Howie, and Justin Timberlake to deal with.�
�I think Aaron�s just crushing or he could be lusting.� They laughed.
�By the look on Sunn�s face I don�t think she knows about Brad.�
�He said he was going to tell her, but that was five months ago.�
�Oh.�
�Anyhow, let�s get back to the crowd.�
�I�m with you.� He smiled and they walked out.
