Sunshine was in her hospital room and waiting for Nickolas to return so she could go home. She stood at the window looking out and thought about how wonderful it was to be going home. She wanted to go home and glad Nickolas was there to take her. She looked at her wedding bands and smiled. She was glad she and Nicolas were standing by each others side no matter what. She walked over to the bed and laid down as Nickolas walked in.
�Hey, Sweets.� He walked over to her.
�Hi.� He leaned down and kissed her.
�You�re all set to go home.� He smiled.
�Good.� She smiled and sat up. �I can�t wait to get outside and sleep in my own bed.�
�Me either.� She kissed him. �I love you.�
�I love you.�
�Then let�s get out of here.�
�I�m with you.� She got up and Nickolas picked up her stuff. �I can help.�
�I got it so don�t worry.�
�Ok, just wanted to show ya I ain�t a weakling and can still carry an overnight bag.�
�I know ya can, but I don�t mind.� He smiled and she nodded. They got on the elevator and went down to the bottom floor. They started walking to the exit and saw a bunch of reporters standing right outside. Sunshine stopped and looked at Nickolas. �They�ve been here the past month and a half since word got out you were in here.�
�How�d you manage?�
�A disguise. They weren�t here this morning.� He looked around and saw a couple security guys at the vending machines. �Come on.� Nickolas took her hand and walked over to the security guys. He explained the situation and they were more than willing to help for a couple autographs for their children. The security went outside and Sunshine and Nickolas stood there watching. When the reporters were pushed about fifty feet from the exit, Sunshine and Nickolas walked out. �Just keep your head down and use your hand to hide your face.� She looked at him. �If they get any pictures they won�t have any faces.� Sunshine nodded and did as Nickolas said as they walked to his car. They got in and Nickolas started driving as Sunshine looked in the mirror.
�Nick, I think we got a follower.� He looked in the mirror.
�Once we get on the freeway we�ll be fine.� He looked at her and smiled. �We�ll have a better change of losing them.� She nodded trusting him. �You�ll be home soon enough.� He leaned over and kissed her.
�I�m trusting you like always.� He grinned, as she looked in the mirror again.
�Don�t worry about the reporter. They�ll give up soon enough.�
�I don�t think that�s a reporter.�
�What do ya mean?�
�It looks like Sapphire James.� Nickolas looked and Sunshine turned to look out the back window. �It is the little bitch. Pull the car over.�
�Why?�
�Just do it.�
�I�m not stopping the car.�
�Then I�ll get out while it�s moving.� She took her seatbelt off and went to open the door.
�Sunnie, don�t even think about opening that door.� She looked at him. �Put your seatbelt back on.�
�Then stop the damn car.�
�No.�
�Why not?�
�Because you�re not going after her.�
�Why not? She�s harassing us.�
�I know that, but she ain�t worth it.� She didn�t say anything and put her seatbelt back on. Nickolas took her hand again and she looked at him. �I know she upsets you, but you can�t let her get to you. There�s no need to feel threatened, because I love you and want to be with you, ya know.�
�I don�t feel threatened. I�m afraid of what she�s capable of doing.�
�If she tries anything we�ll just call the police, because you ain�t going after her.� He kissed her hand. �I won�t let ya.�
�I ain�t promising ya anything.�
�If that�s the best you can do.�
�It is.�
�Ok.� She leaned over and kissed his cheek.
�I love you.�
�I love you more.� She smiled and laid her head on his shoulder.

�Are they here yet?� Danielle asked stepping into the parlor at Sunshine and Nickolas� Apollo Beach home.
�Not yet,� Kevin said laughing. �You just asked five minutes ago.� Danielle smiled innocently. �Traffic�s pretty bad and there was just an accident.�
�What? I hope it wasn�t Sunnie Jo and Nick.�
�It wasn�t.� Venus said. �Unfortunately.� They looked at her. �Why�d I have to come again?�
�Because Sunnie Jo is your friend,� Danielle reminded her.
�This is the last time I�m telling you,� Venus began, �she hasn�t been my friend since she met Nick, because everything is him to her.�
�That�s some way to talk after what she�s been through,� Josephine said.
�Since when did you become a saint?� Venus questioned and Josephine just looked at her.
�Venus, stop it already,� Kevin requested. �We already went through this.� He looked at the others. �There�s no changing her mind.�
�No there isn�t,� Venus agreed. �I�m only staying long enough to say how I feel then I�m leaving.�
�Why don�t you leave now?� Bobbie suggested. And they looked. �This is my brother�s house and I ain�t going to stand around and watch you bad mouth him in it. Kevin, I know she�s your wife and you�re, like, a brother to me, but she�s being a bitch to both Nick and Sunn.�
�How dare you bad mouth��
�Just because you and Kevin can have children right now and Sunn and Nick can�t doesn�t mean you�re any better than they are. God wants it this way for a reason and you should respect that reason and not judge him for it. You better stop and think about what you�re doing, because it could easily be you and Kevin in Sunn and Nick�s situation. Sunn and Nick could be the ones with the triplets and you and Kev could be going through what they are. I wouldn�t be so quick into opening my mouth, because it could be the other way around.�
�You done?�
�Any idiot can see you don�t like Nick, but Sunn loves him like you love Kevin. If there�s a heart in that body of yours and somewhere deep down Sunn is still your friend then respect her decision of being with my brother like she respects your decision of being with Kevin. It�s simple really.�
�What�s going on?� Sunshine asked and they all looked.
They looked at each other a moment then everyone yelled, �Welcome home, Sunn!�
�Oh, um�� Sunshine said and looked at Nickolas. �Did you know about this?�
�No idea,� Nickolas said.
�Oh, well, um�� Sunshine began, �you didn�t have to do this.�
�We wanted you to feel loved again,� Josephine said.
�And to let ya know we�re all here for you,� Destiny added.
�Thank you,� Sunshine said grinning. �It means a lot.�
�You�re welcome,� Danielle said hugging her.
�Congrats on the baby.�
�Huh?� they looked at each other and Sunshine smiled.
�I know. It hurts, but I�ll be ok with it. Same with you Des.� Destiny hugged her. �I have to get use to it so I�ll start now.�
�How�d you know?� Destiny asked.
�How�d I know V and Jo were pregnant?� Sunshine asked and they looked at each other. �I don�t know either.� She smirked.
�Weird,� Danielle said.
�I�m hoping there are no presents,� Sunshine replied.
�Nope,� Destiny said. �I didn�t see any.�
�Good.�
�I�m going to take your stuff upstairs,� Nickolas said kissing her cheek. �I�ll be right back.�
�I�ll come with,� Sunshine said. �Excuse us.� She and Nickolas walked away.
�She looks good,� Josephine said.
�Too good,� Destiny said. �It ain�t fair. She just got out of the hospital.� They laughed. �She�s looking better than me.�
�She has that natural beauty,� Josephine said. �Just like you.� Destiny nodded.
�Nick kept her beautiful while she was in,� Danielle said.
�She�s lucky to have him,� Josephine said and the other two nodded in agreement.
