When selecting courses in high school, it is very easy to just choose the same classes as your friends. Surely that would be a great idea if the courses you took had no effect on your admittance to university, but they do. Therefore it is very important to select the courses that will provide you with the required knowledge to enter the university program of your choice. Depending on your future career goals, you will have to take different courses.
It is best to set up a personal student record to plan out your high school career, and to keep track of courses taken and extra-curricular accitivities you participated in.
