PRINCESS Diana whispered "My God" just before she died, a confidential report by French police revealed last night. He says she also saw the body of chauffeur Henri Paul before realising what had happened.

Febuary 14 ... DIANA... A VOICE FROM THE GRAVE
TAPES of Princess Diana talking about the breakdown of her marriage are to be played on television.More than six years after her death, the American network NBC has obtained audio cassettes of Diana pouring out her heart for royal author Andrew Morton. The tapes formed the basis of Morton's 1992 bestseller Diana: Her True Story, which included Prince Charles's affair with Camilla Parker Bowles.
The two-hour documentary, Princess Diana: the Secret Tapes, will be broadcast on March 4 and March 11. The video footage was shot between September 1992 and December 1993. An NBC spokesman said: "The footage shows a relaxed, candid Diana, at times laughing and interacting with her young sons, illustrating the lighter side of a woman who maintained a very reserved public persona." But it is the audio tapes which will cause the biggest sensation.

Febuary 26th ... SALE OF DI'S SAD LETTERS
A LETTER revealing Princess Diana's despair over James Hewitt's decision to go public with details of their relationship is to be auctioned. Devastated Diana wrote to a friend telling her that his revelations had left her "in a total state of shock and very distressed". The letter also reveals a rift between Diana and the Duchess of York. It is among a stack of correspondence on auction next month written by Diana to reflexologist and confidante Chryssie Fitzgerald, who was later exposed for once running a brothel.

March 1st ... TRAVOLTA: A DANCE TO DI FOR
JOHN Travolta yesterday talked for the first time of the magic dance he had with Princess Diana. The film star, famous as an electrifying mover in Saturday Night Fever and Grease, said: "I felt like a frog who had been turned into a prince."It was at the White House in 1985 and President Reagan's wife Nancy came over to whisper: "I have a request from the princess. It was always her big dream so would you dance with her?"Travolta plucked up his courage and as he took to the floor with 24-year-old Diana the other dancers left and the band played a medley of his movie songs. He said: "We were alone with the world watching. "She started to dance kind of strongly. So I gently pressed her hand down and put my other hand on her waist. It was to say 'let me lead because I know what I'm doing'. "She got the message and we went to town." Travolta, now 50, said: "We had the time of our lives. When it was over she bowed to me and I to her."

Audio recordings obtained by NBC TV were aired in the first part of a two-hour documentary. They were made by Diana in response to written questions from royal author Andrew Morton. Her answers formed the basis of Morton's best- selling 1992 book, Diana: Her True Story.
The documentary also included unseen video footage of Diana relaxing with William and Harry. The Princess spoke bitterly of Prince Charles's affair with Camilla Parker-Bowles and about her battle with bulimia. March 6th DIANA: THE SECRET TAPES
PRINCESS Diana was heard yesterday delivering a scathing attack on Prince Charles and laying bare the heartache in their marriage. Tapes she made six years before her death were played on American TV. They were a fraction of the seven hours she recorded for Andrew Morton, who used them for his bestseller Diana: My True Story.
her friend Dr James Colthurst, who acted as go-between, told NBC: "She talked about Camilla a great deal. Diana would say she found it difficult to understand how on earth she was losing out to a girl who had bad teeth from smoking and had dandruff." He said Diana was so eager to make the tapes she would snatch the written questions from him rather than let him read them out.

PRINCESS Diana's account of the moment she told Camilla Parker Bowles to end her relationship with Prince Charles was screened on TV for the first time last night. Millions heard her describe the confrontation at a party on tapes she recorded at Kensington Palace.
She is heard to say: "I was terrified of her. I said, 'I know what's going on between you and Charles and I just want you to know that'. According to Diana, Camilla told her: "You've got everything you ever wanted. You've got all the men in the world fall in love with you and you've got two beautiful children, what more do you want?" Diana claimed she replied: "I want my husband," before adding, "I'm sorry I'm in the way... and it must be hell for both of you.

March 13th... Judge blocks bid for probe into Princess Diana crash.
A British judge blocked a bid to hold a full public inquiry into the death of Princess Diana and her lover in 1997, rejecting "speculative" claims that the pair were murdered by the British security services. Egyptian-born businessman Mohamed Al Fayed, father of Diana's lover Dodi, was pursuing a judicial review of a refusal to hold an inquiry in Scotland, where he has a Highland home.
Fayed, the owner of Harrods department store in London and the Paris Ritz hotel in Paris, maintains that British security service agents posing as paparazzi photographers killed the couple.

March 22nd... Di memorial takes shape.
The long-awaited Princess Diana memorial fountain is finally taking shape seven months after the foundation stone was laid. Work on the project, a "moat without a castle" designed by American architect Kathryn Gustafson, started last June; the foundation stone was laid by Culture Secretary Tessa Jowell in August.
The 3 million water feature and surrounding gardens are due to be completed this summer, when there will be a public opening ceremony. Measuring 50 metres by 81 metres, the moat is made of stone and will follow the contours of the park. It will be shallow enough for children to paddle in and will be illuminated at night. In one area water will flow down a gentle slope but elsewhere a stream will cascade and tumble before both paths flow into a tranquil pool. A Royal Parks spokesman said the project-was "on programme" to be completed in time for a July opening.

"Diana, a Celebration,'' which includes Diana's wedding gown, diamond tiara and 25-foot train, will be on display at the Museum of Art from Oct. 10 through Dec. 31.
