The Diana Circle (originated in the UK) is a group of like-minded people who decided on the fourth anniversary of Princess Diana's death outside the gates of Kensington Palace to form an association dedicated to preserving, fostering and protecting Diana's memory and to get a suitable permanent memorial erected in her name.

What do we do?

We keep in touch with each other through a newsletter, telephone calls and meet-ups at Kensington Palace and Althorp each year (not required outside the UK). Some of us also have occasional meetings at our homes. We campaign vigorously for a statue of Diana and have made it clear to the authorities that the proposed "ditch" in Hyde Park costing 3 million pounds in not considered fitting. We also contribute to local and national press letters pages if we think Diana's memory is being desecrated or airbrushed from history.

Who is not welcome?

Those who think the monarchy can do no wrong and does not need changing. Diana's legacy included showing the world what compassion and selfless acts of charity can do to alter the staid, arrogant, privileged life-style of most of the Royals.
