- Maxwell Montes rises 7 miles above Venus’ average elevation making it the planets tallest mountain range. It is also the only feature named after a man, thanks to whom, we are able to view Venuses surface.

- It is the 2nd brightest object in our night sky (the moon being the brightest). So bright in fact that it can make shadows on Earth.
