ANNOUNCEMENTS
PAINTBALL TRIP TO SKIRMISH!!! - New!
When: SATURDAY, NOV. 16
Where: Jim Thorpe, PA
One of the fastest growing extreme sports in the world and here's your chance to join in on the fun. For those of you who know, paintball is not a mock-war simulation but a sport that's exciting, fun and safe. I'll be organizing a private trip to Skirmish Paintball (one of the best fields on the east coast) located in Jim Thorpe, PA (about 95 minutes from CCCNJ) on Saturday, November 16th.
The fee for each person will be $27.00 which includes Goggles, Paintball Marker (Gun), All Day CO2/Air Pass, Judges and the private field. If you want to rent camoflauge overalls (recommended if you don't want to dirty your own clothes) it will be an additional $6 fee. Paintballs should be priced at $85 per case of 2000 rounds. Most people will shoot anywhere from 500 to 1000 rounds for the day.
This trip will be very friendly to new and novice players. We want everyone to have a great experience. Please contact me Dave Teng ([email protected]) if you're interested or have any questions!!
TGIF.comm FALL CAMPING TRIP
When: FRIDAY-SATURDAY, OCT. 25-26

Hey everyone, Fall is falling, and what better way to revel in the glory of God's creation than to go camping! I'm planning a one-night camping trip for Friday/Saturday Oct 25 and 26. This should be right at the end, or a little after, peak season at Hickory Run State Park in PA. The cost is $14/site/night, and each site accomodates about 5 people
(2-3 tents). On the 26th, you'll pretty much be on your own. There are lots of things to do in the area.
In preparation for this event, I will be hosting a "beginner's guide to camping" (at the Oct. 18 4W/Small Group Meeting) for those of you who aren't too familiar with the great outdoors. I will cover what to bring and what to expect, and answer any and all questions about camping. Come prepared with questions.

CCCNJ MANDARIN EVANGELICAL MEETINGS

There will be a weekend of evangelical meetings held at CCCNJ on Oct. 11-13. All are invited, especially parents of TGIF.comm members who are non-believers. You are encouraged to participate
with your parents or your parents can come to find out more about Christianity.
The speaker is Dr. Tzu-Qun Tzuang, former Senior Pastor of the Boston Chinese Church in Lexington. The theme of the meetings is "Life Transformation (in Christ)".

TGIF.comm & CCCNJ MINISTRY NEEDS
VAN DRIVERS FOR SUNDAY MORNING SHUTTLE
Looking for an opportunity to serve our own brothers and sisters in CCCNJ? There's a need for van drivers for the Sunday morning shuttle. The idea would be to have enough drivers, so that each driver would only drive one half of one Sunday (and still get to attend worship service).
To qualify to drive Big Red (the 15-passenger van), you must be over 25 years old, and have NO points on your license. If you are interested, please let George Wai or Jaime Hsieh ([email protected]) know.
MISSIONS TRIPS IN 2002
For those interested in going on missions in 2002, in mission in general, or have questions about missions, please contact Raymond Lee ([email protected])
or Angela Wang ([email protected]). CCCNJ has a budget to support folks from TGIF.comm, college and other English congregation members to go on missions trips.
If you would like financial support from CCCNJ for a missions trip you plan on going to, you must complete the missions application forms at least 2 months prior to your trip. Please contact Ray Lee at [email protected] for these forms.
