JANAS CARUNCHO
    Hi everyone, this is Janas. I attended church regularly as a child. However, it wasn't until I was a freshman in high school that I truly understood that because Jesus paid such a great price for my sins; I should respond to His love by pursuing holiness.
    As for my experience in fellowship groups, I attend two youth groups in high school; one at Northfield Baptist Church in Livingston, and the other is Hi-BA (High School Born Againers), an organization that ministers to youth in certain parts of the US, Japan, and Russia. It wasn't until college that I began attending a Chinese church. During college, I attended CCC&C in Philadelphia's Chinatown. Through CCC&C and their college fellowship (Living Water), I met Florence Yeh who introduced me to the folks at CCCNJ. It was during that time that God put a burden in my heart for the career fellowship at CCCNJ.
    After I graduated from college, I began attending TGIF.comm, the career fellowship of CCCNJ. When I started attending TGIF.comm three years ago, I had a demanding job that commanded most of my time. I knew God had a purpose for me to work in the financial industry in New York. However, I was often frustrated that my job demanded so much of my time that I could not commit to serve God, because one week I might be in Florida and the next week in Mexico City on business. Now that I have resigned from my job and God has opened the door for me to serve TGIF.comm through core group.
    I pray that our fellowship will continue to grow in our relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
