Netley Abbey 

The landmark you cannot see! 
The ruins of Netley Abbey near Southampton
Its shown on some charts but is not visible from the water.This is what it would look like if the trees did not get in the way.  
The dissolution saw the Abbey being passed to private ownership as a residence 
and it now lies in a state of picturesque ruin. 
A very pleasant spot to visit.
