Pre-Registration is now closed! Note that no new schools will be added after the Pre-Registration closing date of February 20, 2016.
It is important that every stage of the Registration process be clearly understood. It is also very important that the definitions be clearly understood. This is particularly important when selecting the type of school or education a participant is receiving. The distinction between a PRIVATE SCHOOL and an INDEPENDENT ENTRY, for example, is very important!
This form is not to be completed by individual students or prospective participants, except in the case of "Home Schooled" students, or certain "Independent Entries" as defined below. It should normally be completed by the teacher responsible for all science fair participation in your school, and by only one person per school, since there will be only one allocation of passwords per school. Violation of this condition by a prospective participant will result in automatic exclusion from any TSF events for 2016..
Participants must live in the City of Toronto (previously known as Metropolitan Toronto, with postal codes beginning with the letter 'M') or attend and represent a school in the City of Toronto. Students living outside Toronto should contact their local regional science fair organization.

Each school is assigned a fixed quota of projects, as explained elsewhere on this web-site to ensure a fair distribution of places for participation in the All-Toronto Science Fair on January 2016.

All rules and regulations will be strictly enforced, and failure to comply with any rule can result in the disqualification of a project from the Fair. In particular you should ensure that project dimensions comply with the rules to avoid disappointment.
